It’s not “trying to convince”, it’s a joke. A bit of a tasteless one that should stay in egg_irl, but still a joke. And it sounds nothing like LLM output.
Hi, I spent a few years unpacking those feelings to figure out that I like crossdressing more than I like being the gender opposite my birth. One of the things that made it more confusing in the beginning was the slew of internet comments I would read reinforcing that any gender nonconforming activity was a sure sign I was trans.
If you know the person irl and they consistently show signs of being trans I think it’s good to ask probing questions that may lead them there, but I don’t think it’s right to tell them who they are. Better for them to figure it out themselves. On the internet you definitely don’t know the person beyond a single post, or a few posts coming from their online persona (not their personal self). This means you have even less right to tell them who they are.
Especially with the TM I took your initial comment as a joke, which I don’t find super funny anymore personally but can give a half smile and single roll of the eyes. Your edit about people unpacking their feelings implies to me that you were saying it in earnest though, which is where I start to have a problem for the reasons above. Just in case you want some insight on why you may be downvoted so much.
Yeah, no. You don’t have to try to make everything into more than it is. I’d be perfectly fine being trans. No hard feelings. I’m not though, but I sometimes play female characters because I prefer looking at them. It’s not more than that.
I’ve been playing through Death Stranding 2 and Is This Seat Taken? as well!
I’ve also been dipping in a little to the new stuff in Monster Hunter: Wilds and setting up a ton of emulation on my brand new Steam Deck; I went from being excited to have the new machine to overwhelming myself pretty quickly!
I can personally recommend Duck Game. It supports 8 player local play.
It’s a fighting game that plays on a single screen. Quite fast paced and not everyone’s kind of game but so far in my experience it’s been fun whenever guests come.
I totally get what you mean. Having laundry and dry cleaning in one place makes life a lot easier. I had a similar experience when I was looking for a reliable carpet cleaning service for my home. After trying a few local options, I came across Colorado Stainmaster and it turned out to be a real time saver. Just like you mentioned about clothes care, they handle carpets and upholstery with the same level of attention, which gives peace of mind.
So far as I know, there aren’t a lot of 8-player local multiplayer games. The only obvious answer is the Jackbox games, using your phones as controllers.
Beyond that, I did find this Steam curator, who seems to specialize in 8-player games. From thier list, I recognize Gang Beasts, and Pico Park: Classic Edition. Party Golf, Screen Cheat, and Cobalt also all looked interesting, but I’ve never seen anyone play them.
Literally scheduled stupidity. I’m actually surprised they were this upfront with it being AI and reacted this quickly to backlash. This could’ve gotten a lot worse with a lesser understanding team believe it or not.
I think Neigsendoig (my producer) has an idea. You could play something like Super Tux Kart or another open-source game (mind you, that one I mentioned is FREE and Open-source) of the like.
I can’t think of a single game other than maybe Monopoly or Worms or something else where only 1 controller is used snd just passed around in a turn-based game that would even support more than 4 people playing at once with a single machine.
Most games only support up to 4 players in split screen, and most of those wre going to be older cuz modern games tend to not have splitscreen multiplayer at all.
