Plex will cast to a Chromecast with subtitles. It will also fetch them if you don’t have an SRT file in the folder of your video with the same name. Lenguages is also selectable at the time of fetch. I do not pay for pro. Nonetheless, I have not tried jellyfin and cannot tell you if it is possible there or not. My guess is it should.
Idk if lucky patcher still exists, but i used it for a while.
If its an online game there’s not much to do.
If its an offline game that shows ads when you’re connected to the internet, then you can install a private local vpn like Tracker Control to specifically disable internet access to that app.
Invizible Pro also works iirc, but that might be overkill for your purposes.
Private DNS like NextDNS others didn’t work correctly for me but YMMV
Trine 5 is more of the same, which is good as I’m pretty fond of their take on ‘the same’ and En Garde! Is a delightful little game that combines Sekiro’s combat and Fables charm.
I’ve started a second playthrough of Kingdom Come Deliverance and really enjoying it so far. I recently upgraded my PC and expected to be able to play it on “Ultra” settings but I’m still stuck with 40-70 FPS on high. The game is beautiful but it’s also horribly optimized lol
You might enjoy “The Surge” 1 and 2, they’re souls-like in gameplay but in a more industrial-punk atmosphere. There’s also the “Darksiders” games, I enjoyed all 3 of them. They’re action-RPGs, but “Darksiders 3” is closest to a souls-like. “Remnant: From the Ashes” and “Remnant 2” are also very good fun.
Nice thing is, you don’t have to. It’ll still patch the apk for you, it just won’t install it (having root allows it to overwrite the current app, allowing you to keep your data)
Older gamer here, that has just dipped his toes in RPGs in a long time by buying Elden Ring. These days there’s no time to bash your head in the same bossfight two dozen times. Fun has to be a little less “long haul”.
I’ve played it for two hours or so today and so far loving it! 30fps is noticeable, but much better than other games and not an issue to me while I usually can’t stand it. It all feels immense and very fun, I enjoy exploring and looting and talking to people.
Graphics are a bit underwhelming to be honest.
Also I couldn’t spot a minimap for stations to find eg shops, unless I’m missing something.
The fast travel feels perfect to me, not an issue like others described.
Oh! Same order for me. Bloodborne first, which I managed to bull through after a lot of effort. Then later ER which I got quite stuck on and took a break from.
If you can get your mind around dodging, ER is a lot easier as you have much more options to out DPS your enemies. Bloodborne, even on NG, is really hard to overpower enemies without heavy use of the cum dungeon. And you hit the caps before that would really let you brute force your way through the DLC.
