World of Warcraft by a huge margin. A couple of years ago, I went through all my characters, and added the /played time up. I think it was already over 10k back then, and I’ve played a bunch since then. Also, I often delete characters, so I can’t count those. My sub runs for another 10 days, so I might take the time to check again.
Next is probably Diablo 2, but that was 20 years ago, when this stuff wasn’t really automatically tracked.
On Steam I have two idle games at 800 hours, FF14 650h, both Nioh games 600h each.
I played Wow for the first 3-4 years after its launch.
I had a part time job back then, but otherwise I was playing wow. At some point my /played time passed a year, after that I refused to look. I don’t know if it ever got to two years, but I fear it may have…
a few games i pirated earlier in the year, heh, and Pathologic 2, Lunacid (as of a few seconds ago), Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (to check out the openrct2 mod), dwarf fortress, & Odallus the Dark Call.
I haven’t bought anything. We’ve still got another week to go though, so I might pick up something. I’m a patient gamer so I’m still waiting for Cyberpunk and expansion to come down in price. Otherwise there isn’t a whole lot that interests me right now.
I’m mostly waiting on updates for a few games I already own: Balatro is getting a big update in the new year, Enshrouded, Against the Storm, and Timberborn. I should get back in to BG3 too. I bought it on release and put 20 hours in and then just… stopped playing.
I will vouch that even without the Phantom Liberty expansion Cyberpunk 2077 is fantastic. Phantom Liberty is awesome though, the story is intriguing and the new area is really well done. Everytime I visit Dogtown in that game I’m always like “damn this place is a fucking trash warzone,” the devs really nailed the vibes.
Anyways absolutely amazing game, and it’s half off it probably won’t go below half off for another year I’m guessing. Like you, I got into it after some major updates so I didn’t experience all the crap at release - to me the game is a masterpiece.
A bunch of EA games they‘re practically giving away considering the 90% discounts (Mass Effect etc.), and a bunch of indie puzzle games (Cats Organized Neatly etc.) as well as some steeply discounted Devolver Digital games (Hotline Miami 2 etc.).
I think I paid the price of one full price game (70 bucks nowadays) for like 20+ titles, but also yet again lost the battle of the ratio of games purchased vs games played this year… Damn you, Gaben!
Now I‘ll just wait for Monster Hunter Wilds which is easily my most anticipated game at the moment and probably the first triple-A game I‘ll be getting on launch since Elden Ring.

Same here.
FYI, Monster Hunter Wilds is available on Green Man Gaming and Fanatical for -18%, taking its price down to a normal triple A price of 57€.
Not a lot of single game no lifers on here… i.imgur.com/H9PWPxq.pngObv wallpaper engine, clicker, and perfect tower are idle things so most of those hours aren’t active so pretty much every other game I have is under 200 hours.
TF2 is one of my highest as well, but only half as many hours as you! Lots of hats… cashed out all my unusuals for an Index.
Highest is probably Diablo II+D2R, played every day in my teens, from when I got home to when I slept. Then I started playing while botting. Has to be 3k+ hours. Never been so addicted to a video game.
Same, my most played game ever. I find it funny, at least to me, a game from 2007 thats barely supported by the dev is significantly better than the other modern derivatives of tf2 like overwatch and marvel bandwaggon money maker.
