Disco Elysium’s writing revels in it’s excess and I love it for what it is in game, but I don’t think I’d be able to handle reading about the Franconigerian calvary without Lenval Brown’s silky-sultry voice narrating it to me.
Hey there! We appreciate your participation in the community, but please try and keep the posting frequency down a bit. The posts are clogging up the feed slightly. Thank you!
Give it a few weeks and it’ll be $7.99. Maybe even $5.99 depending on how many sales they got last time it hit $7.99.
They keep it at this price because it allows them to advertise an ‘80% discount’ several times a year, which gives them better visibility in the sales.
Which is a wholly different level of suck. But hey, ho.
Nah, he ate all your health upgrades and told the listeners it was all from DNA Force Plus and his colloidal silver toothpaste at infowars store dot com, new summer sale just dropped, they are in stock with a new shipment, go support the show and investigative journalists like Dan Bidondi and Wolfgang Halbig.
I really hate that cross-play is still so hit-or-miss these days. I feel like the only developers who put any effort into it are ones who focus on live service games, and I'd honestly like to see a push away from that model, in general.
that’s why I just kinda hate getting games on consoles nowadays (excluding something like the steam deck since it’s just a handheld PC). I always feel so locked in. sucks that there’s some cool exclusives on consoles tho like the new spiderman on playstation
Yeah, and I feel like that's only going to get worse as time goes on as more and more big studios get bought up by console manufacturers. Seeing Bungie and Bethesda and Activision/Blizzard all getting bought up has me worried about exclusivity contracts fracturing what was fairly recently a thriving console market.
I remember that I did a little bit (not too much) of research before getting DA2 back in the day. When I realized that one of the love interests was an ELF and a cutesy wootsy uwu blood mage, I was DETERMINED to HATE her.
And then I played the game, got to her, and she opened her mouth, and suddenly I realized she was pure and precious and needed to be protected at ALL COSTS
Alright, I’ve never even played this game, but all of this gushing over Merrill made me look up some clips of her… I think I’m onboard the Merrill fan train as well, now.
I never played Galaxies, but I was always fascinated by the concept of it, especially before it was revamped. The idea of giving you the freedom to just exist in the world of Star Wars was always something I wished more games would do. I mean, I loved KOTOR for what it was, but you were still the main character of a story someone else had written. It's a shame nothing has really tried to emulate the style of Galaxies since then.
That's probably 150 aborted campaigns totaling 900 hours and two completed 25 hour each campaigns. Source: I'm at around 1500 hours, maybe 2000. A lot of it predates steam, so I don't know exactly.
I've only completed one campaign ever. At some point you know you've won and you're just steamrolling. So why bother.
I remember very briefly playing Galaxies in the mid-2000s when my college friends and I were looking for budget MMOs to play together (WoW was expensive for me and some others at the time). It was OK but we quickly moved on from it. We actually played Pirates of the Caribbean Online for the most time overall but never did find one that we all really liked.
One of my two favorite games of all time. I wish I could unlearn how to play. Some of my best memories are scavenging for anything remotely valuable and finding myself somewhere I shouldn’t be at that level.
