I have a setup like that and don’t even play call of duty, I mostly just run my own streaming service for friends and family plus a cloud gaming VM for when I play while I poop
I want this. Just build my main personal rig and a couple dedicated game servers into a single box. That would be rad as fuck. Especially if the box itself was climate controlled. Fuck, man… Maybe I’d just live in the box.
I have a smaller cabinet and thought it would be cool to put my gaming machine in a Sliger case and keep the cabinet next to my desk until the next time I had to actually use my laptop at the cabinet. Sounds like a jet compared to my gaming rig, so I decided it can continue to live in the basement. I’ll get a KVM for the servers or something
Should add eduke32 (that’s the repo, site here) for Duke Nukem 3D, believe Ion Fury (which is phenomenal) is built on that, think I’ve seen mention of it working with other build engine games, I’ve used with assets from world tour, it’s a better experience imo.
Gzdoom has some great games built on the engine too (bit of a tangent), Selaco and Hedon both fantastic games.
My super pious, straight edge run of KCD2 was ruined when I ended up taking a side quest that ultimately led to having unavoidable sex. Even straight up saying “no thanks” still led to fucking. 😩

Nie wiem czy bardziej zaskakuje mnie WGA na Syrenie, czy aktywnie odmawiający współtworzenia tej przestrzeni Metys mówiący o inforanarchizmie j alternatywnych mediach… 🤔
Metys sam wybrał taki temat, pewnie ze względu na powstającą w Poznaniu audycję “Raport z Oblężenia”, ucieszy nas też bardzo jeśli przyjdą osoby związane z innymi altmediami :) Co do Syreny, no cóż, wszystko płynie

Historycznie w Warszawie działało FA sekcja Warszawa, koło 2004 rozpadło się na dwie grupy; FA Praga i FA WGA (odpowiednio lewy i prawy brzeg, ale też powiedzmy różne nurty i składy podzielone jednym z nie-sławnych konfliktów w polskim ruchu). Obecne WFA powstało sporo po zwinięciu działalność WGA, jako odtworzona sekcja Federacji Anarchistycznej, ale z niej wystąpiła, zostawiając skrót a zmieniając nazwę na Warszawska Formacja Anarchistyczna (oświadczenie), zresztą zachowując domenę warszawskafa.org. No więc ponowne zawiązanie się nowej ekipy pod szyldem WGA jest tu raczej nieświadomym powtórzeniem historii, raczej niż działaniem, któremu warto zarzucać tworzenie nazwy mającej się mylić, bo to potencjalnie lekko grząski zarzut…
When you’re saying “real world” you mean mobile devices where your actual position dictates your position in the game world, right?
I really like the idea of these. Ingress started out cool, but didn’t hold my interest. I think the actual play loop kinda sucked, but it built up a decent community around the novelty.
Yeah, location based as in you and the objects in the game are based on real world coordinates. The “grid” for the game is overlayed onto the real world
Same ingress lost its appeal after a while. The gameplay loop was shallow and repetitive. It was based around rather fast gameplay loops, that would resolve, and then you rinse and repeat.
I made some cool friends though, it was cool to meet people at capture points.
I’m aiming for much MUCH more depth here. Fundamentally different from ingress of similar games, aside from being location based. More industry and exploration, with a more typical loop around economy, growth, and advancement.
