You mean other than extraction? Sure, arcade like L4D series, rpg like fallout series. Team death match like Quake or COD series, survival like RUST or 7 days to die. There’s lots.
Take on missions, collect loot, leave the area. If you die, you lose everything on you. At least as far as I know, I don’t play any but have seen some escape from tarkov videos.
Sometimes day to day life sucks, we need to escape into games we like and look past all the privacy and annoying bullshit. But when nearly all games are this way, easy to step back and go “wait a minute…”
When (not if) enshittification takes over, I’ll pirate their shit.
Now this is one game that will never get uninstalled from my system. Ran a few servers back in the day too. Loved the simplicity, built a new computer when l4d2 came out.
Exactly the same. I think them using Left 4 Dead as a selling point is what ruined it. It should have just been its own game should not have even mentioned Left 4 Dead
God I was so excited and I liked the idea of the random card difficulties, but fuck I couldn’t figure out how to get into it. Bought that shit cause I have like 5000 in L4D 1 and 2 and love them. But B4B dissappointed me so much.
