Less than a year since I upgraded from my RX580 and I only did it because I got an amazingly stupid deal on a RX7600 ($175 about 3 months after launch). Otherwise, the card is fine and is, in fact, still being used on my cousin’s PC.
How’s PCSX2 performance on the Deck? I somehow get much better performance on my Ryzen 5 4500U laptop than I do on my Ally and that makes absolutely no fucking sense.
Fucking Hitman, man. It’s not only confusing, it’s bullshit. I had Hitman 1 and 2 and there’s a process to transfer them into Hitman 3 so that you only buy the Hitman 3 content so I tried it and… it failed. It just did. No error or anything, it just didn’t transfer shit. I tried again and it gave me an error saying I couldn’t transfer Hitman 1 and 2 more than once. Fucking Square Enix (or was it IO?).
Except they’re not. Most people like them and agree that they do add to the overall enjoyment of the game. Hell, I loved that part in the DLC when you fight two of them. It’s literally just a couple of people who are mad about them. So, yeah, git gud.
Let’s preface by making clear that when I say Lemmings are disconnected from reality, I don’t mean they’re delusional. I mean they’re so immersed in their unix-like free-as-in-freedom open-source technobubble that they’ve forgotten what regular people want.
As for the rest of your comment, yes, every social media will attract its own niche of people but not every platform is equally as disconnected from the real world. For example, nobody in Fragrantica (perfume social media) would recommend a regular person to buy a perfume that smells like cocaine and magazines, even though its one of the most popular fragrances among people who like perfumes. Meanwhile, on Lemmy, people love to pretend the SteamDeck is an actual alternative to the Switch.
