slazer2au,

Factorio has to take the cake in this.

How hard could it be to make a rocker after crashing on an alien planet?

slazer2au,

Jumped back into some Division 2 lately with friends. Been fun power level my mates who aren’t level 40.

What games would you suggest that have LAN support these days?

While PC may be one's first thought here, I'd also be really interested in any mobile games that might leverage one's local wifi network for multiplayer.

Classics are a-okay for suggestion too, btw!

@games

slazer2au,

My friends and I stilll have a blast playing FarCry 2 on LAN.

slazer2au,

Because the apple argument was different and that’s what matters.

Apple designs, builds, and sells iPhones/iPads
Apple wrote the ios which only runs on iPhones/iPads (within technical reasons) and are the owners of the code.

Google however, does not build phones. Apart from the Pixel phones. Samsung designs and builds phones, LG use to design and build phones, but would install Android.
Android while mostly maintained by Google, is not owned by Google also was not originally created by Google and can be run on just about any arm64 device not just things created by Google.

In the lay terms of you purchased a PC from Dell running Ubuntu and could only install applications via the Microsoft Store you would be pretty unhappy.

slazer2au,

That is surprising forthcoming from them.

slazer2au,

The entire discography is on YouTube I remember ripping off there years ago.

slazer2au,

Why can’t it be both? Get an upgrade and steer clear of AAA games for the first year.

slazer2au,

ME:3 and the cliff.

Several points in Life is Strange, I have yet to finish that game.

slazer2au,

Duke Nukem 3D, Morrowind, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, Age of Mythology, the Sims 2. Diablo 2

slazer2au,

That is good to hear. I hope they do get the performance issues under control.

slazer2au,

We like new IP. We just don’t want trash at launch.

slazer2au,

On holiday in Australia so been playing “Don’t get killed by the wildlife simulator 2023.”

slazer2au,

m.youtube.com/c/FrancisJohnYT

Has plenty of video nuggets on various games including Rimworld and Oxygen Not Included.

slazer2au,

From their quarterly SEC filing.

We are dependent on the success of our customers in the gaming market. Adverse events relating to our customers or their games could have a negative impact on our business

Remind me, why did you alienate your customer base with a per install fee Unity?

slazer2au,

Revenue is not profit.

Revenue is income. Profit is how much they made after some expenses.

What are some alternative to soulless videogame franchises? angielski

What I mean is… sometimes people are very loyal to a videogame franchise or a company because they loved a game they released years ago (Silent Hill/Konami with Silent Hill 2, Blizzard/Bethesda with their respective golden eras, some could argue this happens too with Pokémon and Final Fantasy, etc). Ethical/consumer reasons...

slazer2au,

CrackFactorio

Management games like Software INC, Startup Company, Big Ambitions, Sim Airport and SimCasino.

slazer2au,

I am giving CS2 a year or so to clean up the performance issues and wait for the workshop to kick into gear.

slazer2au,

I wouldn’t know. We were talking about Cities Skylines 2

slazer2au,

Tldr: 25 January 2024 no more multiplayer for the games below

Assassin’s Creed II for Xbox 360 Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for Mac Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD for PlayStation 3 And Xbox 360 Assassin’s Creed Revelations for PC Ghost Recon Future Soldier for PC Heroes of Might and Magic VI for PC NCSI for PC Splinter Cell: Conviction for Xbox 360 R.U.S.E. for PC Trials Evolution for PC

slazer2au,

Can we play the game “have the staff been told or is this their redundancy notice?”

ROCKSMITH 2014 LEAVING STORES - Ubisoft (www.ubisoft.com) angielski

You may want to know that Ubisoft’s Rocksmith® 2014 Edition will be de-listed from Steam after October 23rd, 2023 which is one week from this post date. This is a game that makes learning to play the guitar like Guitar Hero/Rockband, which can score you or let you slowly practice a part with scrolling fret indicators....

slazer2au,

Of course, Ubisoft is going to replace this 40 CAD game with a subscription service model called Rocksmith+ which is 20 CAD per month and not available on Steam. On the other hand, RS2014 works without the need of a Uplay account and can be played offline (Just press Esc twice at the signin screen).

More likely the music license expires and they can’t distribute the game without one.

slazer2au,

Rip

slazer2au,

I mean for gamers in general. This merger will not benefit consumers.

slazer2au,

I genuinely love your optimism.

Microsoft will use this purchase to further restrict releases to non Xbox consoles, no matter when they agree to to industry bodies. It is in Microsofts interest to only release on their platforms as releasing to PS or Switch will cost them in Xbox purchases.

slazer2au,

Don’t forget console exclusive.

slazer2au,

Outside? Surely the Chad thing to do it grind inside the fortress.

slazer2au,

Playing some 7 days to die and Starship Troopers at the moment.

slazer2au,

Adventure Capitalist, City inc, Reactor Idle.

slazer2au,

Does that extend to his and the rest of the C suites salaries?

slazer2au,

Set your password to an EICAR test string and see what else you can brick on their site.

slazer2au,

Ah, so you are approaching mid game.

slazer2au,

And the backpedaling continues. Here’s hoping the fireside chat actually happens this time.

slazer2au,

Hope it doesn’t. MS has a history of anticonsumer practices that goes all the way back to the 90s.

No matter what they say to the regulator MS will stop releasing any ABK existing IP onto Sony and Nintendo consoles.

Even though it will not directly effect me as a PC gamer it is still a bad thing for the industry as a whole.

slazer2au,

Is anyone shocked by this? I does suck for PS owners but also for anticonsumer reasons

slazer2au,

Pretty big assumption that you own something digital you paid for. Let’s be honest, you paid for a license not a product.

slazer2au,

Big Ambitions dropped EA 0.3 last week. So I am retro fitting all my retail outlets with security while setting up the new stores and HQ employees.

slazer2au,

The order comes from Landesgericht für Zivilrechtssachen Wien, which is a regional court in Vienna. The court ruled that these loot boxes violate gambling laws. However, this is a standalone decision, and has no wider impact on the country’s legal position on loot boxes.

In Austria, civil cases are taken on a case-by-case basis, and the courts are not bound by previous decisions.

So nothing will come of this.
