Most that you included aren't really associated with PC anymore though. Geralt, Doomguy, Vault boy, BJ Blazkowicz etc are very popular on consoles too. The only one I would say qualifies for real would be Gordon Freeman, since half-life is usually referred to as one of the great PC classics.

Hmm, I'll have to see some gameplay for myself when it releases but I'm a bit worried that it's heading into a more serious horror aesthetic. I was hoping it would be more like 4 and 8 which have horror elements but are also kind of goofy and fun.

Honestly compared to other handhelds and current-gen consoles, the price seems OK for what you're getting. The problem for me has always been how expensive Nintendo's games are, $80 seems way too much.

The steam deck doesn't come with a dock, has a worse screen at 800p/60Hz compared to the S2's 1080p/120Hz, is way larger and thicker, doesn't have detachable controllers so if you do buy the dock you'll have to bring your own controller. It also can't play in a kickstand mode which is a negative if you're wanting to play with friends outside which is something I do often with my Switch 1.

I like the Steam Deck, really, but it's not a 1:1 comparison and I think the average person will still really prefer the Switch 2.

I haven't played Siege in ages, so I wonder if this big overhaul update is worth trying again. The game is also free to play outside of ranked modes which is nice.

That's the end of the Xbox showcase. It's lame that their last "big new reveal" was just another COD... Of course there's always going to be a new call of duty, but they hyped up the trailer like it's something new.
