I got One Step from Eden for 60% off, considering oxygen not included for 66% off. Divinity Original Sin 2 is $10 right now and I highly recommend that too. The Arkane Anniversary Bundle is $10 right now and is looking really tempting since I’ve never played Dishonored.
Still on the lookout for other deals, but it’s looking good so far.
Interesting opinion considering most posts are constantly bashing companies on this platform
Re: “This post is an ad”
All trailers are ads. Any article promoting a game is an ad. A movie trailer is an ad. The only difference is whether people are interested in the content or not. It’s not some grand conspiracy that many people (me included) look forward to the Steam sale so they can buy games they want and be on the lookout for sales. This is a gaming community so this is very relevant to be posted here. Don’t be overdramatic.
Sort of a nothingburger article. He says that they didn’t get nominated, then says they probably didn’t deserve to get nominated. Even people that liked the games agree neither should’ve been nominated.
I don’t think so, now that the dust has settled lots of people agree ToTK was a bit underwhelming. It had many of the same issues as breath of the wild, like weak dungeons and bosses. The depths and sky islands also had lots of copy pasting, way more than breath of the wild ever has.
Great game still, but no way it’ll win GotY. It’ll easily win the action/adventure award though.
Some dungeon crawlers I enjoyed: Hades, Enter the Gungeon, Torchlight 1 & 2, Crypt of the Necrodancer, Legend of Grimrock, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth
Not at all, you can adjust clear rate (difficulty) when browsing levels. I just played one playlist of 15 easy levels and it was really fun and simple.
The campaign levels are kind of hard, though. Nowhere near “I wanna be the guy” levels of hard but it’s made for people that are good at platforming, so you may want to stick with community levels if you get stuck.
The Xbox GOTY is baffling. You had Dead Space, Pentiment, and Hi-Fi Rush as the nominees and they picked Starfield? I get it’s the most popular but all three of those were way better. Hi-Fi Rush got scammed.
The rest of the rewards seem good. I’m glad Cocoon got some recognition.
Just when the competition in the handheld space was ramping up, Valve comes back to dunk on them again.
It’s pretty awesome that they also cut the price on the old model. The $400 LCD version now comes with a 256gb NVME SSD rather than the slow eMMC it came with.
The mechanics are similar but it’s a very different game. I would say look up gameplay and decide for yourself if you’d enjoy a 2D version of Risk of Rain.
