It’s dota 2 if it were a very competitive 3rd person shooter. More of a MOBA than a hero shooter, and it’s very complex. Also I’ve been playing it for a month, AMA I guess
Concord is dead on arrival. Kind of a shame, the game looked a bit interesting but being $40 and having very generic art this was bound to happen. Deadlock is in a whole other league.
say that the Xbox isn’t powerful enough to run it at anything beyond that.
There’s no way they can’t just lower the resolution and apply upscaling like every other game that has a quality and performance"mode. They’re intentionally locking it to 30 for some bizarre reason.
“It’s 4K in the X. It’s 1440 on the S. We do lock it at 30, because we want that fidelity, we want all that stuff. We don’t want to sacrifice any of it.”
It’s a simplified version of animal crossing for mobile, with some microtransactions to speed things up. I played it on release and it’s pretty decent.
Neat. I played the dev’s last game (Heat signature) and thought it was way too complicated, but this looks a lot more up my alley. Being able to rewind your turn is really nice, too.
They really snuck in the starfield DLC in there huh.
Microsoft’s first party lineup has been a joke this generation but it seems all their acquisitions are finally paying off, there’s a lot of good stuff there that I’m interested in - Avowed and Fable especially. Ara also looks good since Civ 7 is still far away.
Note about Overcooked is that the new version that combines 1 & 2 (Overcooked All You Can Eat) seems to have major issues with online multiplayer that never got fixed. You’re better off just buying Overcooked 2.
It’s real according to someone from Forbes: nitter.poast.org/PaulTassi/…/1825193786273681489 . Reviewers didn’t get these guidelines but some content creators did, which is why everyone’s confused.
It isn’t a question of who did it first, it’s a question of who made it popular. Look at how many games have a death run since DS came out. Hollow Knight, Nioh, Blasphemous, etc. It’s also not the same mechanic as losing your items on death.
Dark Souls popularized the stamina meter and the “dropping all your money on death and having to go pick it back up” mechanic. Not to mention spawning a subgenre of similar games like Lies of P and Lords of the Fallen
