to be honest, if they modelled an IKEA store, and arranged 3D models of their furniture in it like in real world that be amazing. If you could move them around for easier comparison it’d be even better! Nothing feels more awkward than walking back and forth between two similar pieces of furniture for the 5th time wondering if you like this style better or the other one
I’m really enjoying it! It has some skyrim vibes to it and the building mechanic is what I’ve been craving for so long.
One thing I don’t like is the gated progression - you need to upgrade your altar to make areas covered in “deadly shroud” turn into normal shroud and become passable. Personally I’d remove that - I want to get my ass kicked by a level 30 enemy when I’m level 5, or to sneak around them to get to the only chest that’s away from enemy routes, there is no need to put an insta death barrier before the higher level areas
at least they’re using the money they get to make hardware that would not get greenlit otherwise due to too high market risks
and they didn’t suddenly make the platform subscription only & put all the new features in the cloud to make it harder to pirate (looking at you Adobe you pos)

I don’t qualify to play but seems like a smart tactic to get some real virtual world experience and possibly a job.
