Yea oled is very nice, it’s what most phones today have too. (Mine included)
It is nice to have a portable computer, but op is asking for playing games and your games can have wayy better graphics if you stream it from a full gaming pc vs compromising quality to have it run on the steamdeck. When you’re just running games on steam there’s not that much more difference between the two.
Just get a bluetooth controller and use the SteamLink app on your phone. It let’s you lounge back and play games just like the steam deck and for way cheaper. I’m actually finding it hard to justify buying a Steam Deck when I have this option.
I’m in the same situation, working 8 hrs at a desk and I can’t join the discord group like I used to during school years. Now I just watch tv on the main monitor and use SteamLink on my phone
Rumors/Leaks had them and they were right about what we see in the trailer so hopefully. I’m hoping yes, nintendo must be tired of repairing joycons ^^
For PC handheld you could always use the Steam Link app on your phone with a controller grip. Just need to have a PC with Steam installed to run the games.
Yea, I mean Watchdogs 2, The Division, Steep, I know some friends loved For Honor and R6: Siege is amazing (idk how the game looks today tho with all the updates they made).
Seems people tend to see ubisoft as AC and FarCry only.
I know there are some changes you can do in settings. I mostly did snowboarding and since I snowboard irl I found the controls were close to how you’d control your feet on an actual board. So that probably helped ^^
But rider’s republic mixed it all up so I get what you mean
+1 for the Gamesir, completely dropped sitting at my desktop. Now my main screen is for shows and the secondary is for game streaming through SteamLink.
I grabbed the X2 because it seemed the most compact without sacrificing triggers or joysticks, but I now think the G8 would have been a better choice with the larger grip
