Is it maybe voice files etc for all the potential branching storylines and conversations that can happen? It’s such a spiderweb of branching storylines that I’d imagine it can take up a fair whack but I genuinely dont know jack shit, just spitballing.
Love RDR2 but never really spent much time on the online version. Is it good to just explore? Are there missions the same as in the main game but just not voiced by your character?
Right?! They must have so much fun coming up with races and classes etc so a fresh canvas to create on would be killer. Plus they make nice visuals and the soundtrack for DOS2/BG3 is 👌
Love BG3 and Divinity OS2, about ten hours into DOS and enjoying it too. They have top tier storytelling and seem to enjoy what they do. I’ll be getting whatever they do next but I hope it’s sci-fi.
Thing is after a certain point I can’t even tell the difference any more. I feel like the downloads are throttled from Microsoft’s side so I never quite get the full whack.
Skyrim will always hold a special place in my heart, it’s almost like a simpler time.
Starfield damaged Bethesda for me though. To spend 25 years on it in total and for it to be as it released was very disappointing. I mean basics like no city maps or land vehicles? Every base you come across having the same bodies in the same place with the same loot? I want to love it, they can do things I can’t even imagine (I can’t program Jack shit) but for that to be the end point of their decades of labour just doesn’t add up for me.
