Every instrument has been separated out and reconstructed by AI so technically it’s more of a “remaster” than most of the commercially released “remasters” of older music. Or the best we’re ever gonna get anyway. That other comment is just salty.
If you’re in doubt just listen to the new one and old one side by side - it’s not even close.
For the instruments I have a private plugin originally based on spleeter and I have LALAL.ai. Some tracks (like the drums) which it’s not as good for, I get my buddy to extract in FL studio (its implementation is surprisingly not terrible) since I use ableton. Sometimes the result is good, sometimes it’s not. There’s only so much you can pull out of these old tracks but the fact we can do it at all is pretty mind-blowing.
Hell March and stuff already has some really good remakes, so I don’t think I can improve on those much. But I’m sure some of those haven’t received a lot of attention.
Do you guys do anything other than to pile on to shit on this game? Shit on Star Citizen? Shit on buying anything ever? Shit on Sean Murray and how naive he just was and you would just do such a better job right?

Makes sense though since Linux is [bad word] at running games unless you have a Steam Deck.
Actually, there’s a couple popular mods with an overhauled algorithm. No space required (That wouldn’t make sense anyway). Back when I played through this I wouldn’t touch it without it.
There was just too many derivative comments to choose from. I didn’t want to make it personal with someone. This was not directed at OP I thought (perhaps incorrectly) that that would be clear.
The discourse here is disappointing considering this isn’t reddit and you expect people to be smarter. Go download and play it right now if you need to form an opinion, because the language you’re all using clearly indicates you haven’t.
Play it so you can give it its valid criticism instead of parroting an internet lynch mob from 10 years ago.
I mean, it was no secret that the game is an ongoing project with ‘it’s ready when it’s ready’ as the goal. Like literally every other public alpha. So I guess people like me will continue enjoying games like SC, DayZ, Arma, Valheim, Zomboid, 7dtd, and countless others just like it while people like you can keep getting mad on the internet. For this game in particular I got far more enjoyment than I deserved for spending $50 I don’t know how people can justify being so lame and self-righteous.
See, the problem is that’s not a criticism if you play it. It’s playable now so why slap a 1.0 label on it until it’s ready. Real criticism would be something like ‘updates are too slow’, ‘shop weapons are way too expensive’, ‘it takes way too long to get to my ship’, ‘server wipes are too extreme and I should be able to keep expensive ships’, ‘basic mechanics are not maintained and bug free enough between feature updates’ <- all criticism mine by the way.
