MeatsOfRage, do gaming w Watch Dogs Series is Dead and Buried, It's Claimed

Ubi also needs to just kill Beyond Good and Evil 2 at this point. There’s no way anything good can come from a project with 17 years of development and nothing really to show for it.

MeatsOfRage, do games w The studio behind Journey have brought their "peaceful" MMO Sky: Children Of The Light to PC

Just a heads up, there’s a good review on the steam page that breaks it down a bit and it seems this is less a free game and very much a F2P game with a battle pass and expensive currency.

MeatsOfRage, do games w Which Mortal Kombat games across the years should I start with?

Going back though, I’d probably just skip the first now. 2 improved on 1 in every way. 3 and ultimate was also good but a bit bloated. Then we get a slew of mixed to bad games until we get to the nether realms era.

So basically play 2 then play series that starts with the 2011 Mortal Kombat

MeatsOfRage, do gaming w Where's my current gen rocket jump?

I do miss the days when Epic would build bespoke games to show off their new engines. Now they just dump it all into Fortnite.

MeatsOfRage, do games w Niantic: Pokémon Go healthy and growing as it approaches its next decade

Year 1 I went hard on pokemon go, I committed to the original 150 (I don’t recognize anything past red and blue) that were available and in my region then peaced out. There wasn’t anything there past my nostalgia.

MeatsOfRage, do games w What are the best indie games you've ever played?

Slay the Spire. I’ve probably put more hours into this game than any other in my life.

From there, I guess all the usual picks. Hades, Hollow Knight, Braid, Fez, Dead Cells, Celeste

MeatsOfRage, do games w The upcoming Crazy Taxi reboot is a triple-A game, according to Sega

Don’t forget, Sega called out these games along side things like subscription services www.tweaktown.com/news/94151/…/index.html

MeatsOfRage, do gaming w Seeking: Kid-friendly Adventure/Exploration Games (PC)

The Peppa Pig game is surprisingly open. If you just walk off screen it lets you keep going and you end up in new locations. Hop on the bus and end up in another location. There aren’t many blocks to stop you from going where you feel like going and there’s a variety of activities at each location.

MeatsOfRage, do games w Microsoft Confirms Plans To Release Xbox First Party Games “Across All Platforms”, Including PlayStation

Xbox is a gamepass company now, not a hardware company. They’d much prefer you just BYOD and Xbox just handles the streaming.

MeatsOfRage, do games w The PC Cursed 98 game jam gives you the full warped '90s magazine experience | Destructoid
MeatsOfRage, do games w What are your opinions about 'handicap' features in games

They’re great, means I don’t have to artificially adjust my play style to play with someone less experienced

MeatsOfRage, do games w Baldur's Gate 3 has won Steam's 2023 GOTY Award

TLOU Part 1 was a 2023 release, even though it’s just a remake but at least I can let that slide. Even SIFU was a 2023 Steam release so I can let that slide. RDR2 is in a category that specifically built for games before 2023. What I can’t let slide is giving it the labor of love award. It hasn’t been touched since launch and the online component is a gong-show because of it’s bugs and cheaters. Even the singleplayer mode had a huge audio bug that affected many people (including myself) and the only work around was getting some guys script that you have to run before launching the game.

It’s completely abandoned by Rockstar and does not deserve to come anywhere close to the “Labor of Love” award.

MeatsOfRage, do games w [Steam] Which lesser known games have you bought or are planning to buy in this sale?

I loved this game too but I was never able to finish it. The game kept getting incrementally slower as I progressed like it was having trouble processing everything. Happened on both my Switch and Xbox Series X. Hopefully the PC version is better.

MeatsOfRage, do gaming w Why Hideo Kojima is so popular?

Because he’s one of the few devs with true name recognition. All video game awards shows have always been chasing the Oscars but the film industry is full of massive celebrities. Not just stars but directors and even some writers and producers.

So Kojima has that. Plus his work always shows well. It’s usually something unique and cinematic.

MeatsOfRage, do games w Steam year in review 2023 is up, if you want to get disappointed in how much you bought and how little of it you played. 😛

My chart shows an emphasis on zombies and typing. I don’t know how to interpret that other than we need a new Typing of the Dead.
