What are y’all playing? I started Silent Hill F. After about 8 hours in I think I’m going to put it down for now. The combat was a huge slog for me and was just not really enjoying my time with it :/...
Kewbash is a tactical grid combat game where two players battle on a 6×6 board. The players take turns at the same time. The game involves risk taking and psychology, trying to predict your opponent’s moves while not causing a draw. It’s inspired by games like Tron and Rock Paper Scissors....
I think this should display both players on the same tile, no? And maybe some hint as to what happened here (so my opponent knows I moved two spaces). In general, it’s not always clear what the final move was.
Also, I just now realised that clicking “How to play” again closes the instructions. Was scrolling up and down between matches.
Any way to get a sound to confirm a match was found?
I have NO IDEA how I ended up in that spot lol I thought I was done then I wasn’t and I huh? That’s when some kind of log might come in handy like in chess. But maybe I’m asking too much of a small game like this :)
I am absolutely on the voice actors’ side here, but isn’t this a less than ideal argument? It seems to presume a right to be employed. If epic don’t want to use voice actors, why would they have to? I’m genuinely asking because isn’t this just a form of automation? Again, on the side of real voice actors, anti gen AI, I’m trying to understand.
Oh I know how unions work, they’re quite important and do mostly very good work where I live. I just always assume any unions that manage to even exist in the US are little more than begrudgingly tolerated by employers. I didn’t realise they were referring to actual contractual obligations, I see. Thank you for clarifying.
There is a lot of highly critical discourse around the Last Samurai. Not current, because it’s not a current movie, but saying that it’s “okay” suggests you they haven’t looked for criticism.
Also, weary.
Edit: clarity.
Edit2: I have since been made aware by @SkunkWorkz of a different perspective that makes a lot more sense, see comments below.
And even then, there were people who were uncomfortable with a narrative of some heroic white dude coming in to save the exotic natives. Just wasn’t a very popular opinion.
That’s presumably the beginnings of an awareness of why that narrative is problematic. And also of the importance of historic accuracy. His role in the narrative was that of a saviour though. (Also, he survives.)
Curious to see what they do with the “mouse” function, as well as how well the new Joycon attachment system works (as well as if they have Hall Effect sensors…)
Agreed. I really enjoy being able to one hit enemies that made me shit my trousers a couple of hours ago. The rats I killed for that innkeeper when I arrived shouldn’t even be worth my attention during endgame.
Then that would be the gamers’ fault, not the producer’s. They’re not responsible for how their comment may not only be taken out of context but also translated in a disadvantageous way.
It’s really just “this thing happened” and nothing else, as if they’re reporting on events where they’re just innocent bystanders. Instead of saying what they did, it’s “hey, we didn’t do [detail]”.

What do You think about level scaling in cRPGs?
Personally I dislike it very much. It take feel of achievement. Why even bother with gaining experience if it makes enemies stronger?
