To play devil’s advocate, I suspect that the majority of unauthorized 3rd party devices were designed for cheating versus mobility needs. Microsoft has fantastic accessibility accessories first-party that hopefully will meet the majority of needs.
I joined a Linkshell (guild) in FFXI a few months ago and they’ve been great to me. Everyone is always helping one-another and we run weekly events every Saturday night. I don’t have much of a social life in my 30s so it’s been a great time for me to spend time with folks.
Cool, I might renew my sub to check out the FFXI content. I still play XI daily so I’d be curious to see what kind of lore they explore in the crossover.
The sad part is that this sets the standard (again) that companies can market the hell out of an unfinished game, release it buggy as hell, and still make an amazing profit. This doesn’t bode well for the future.
I’m 20 hours in and not having a good time. Feels like I’m forcing myself to play instead of looking forward to it.
It’s just… bland. There’s no memorable characters, no breathtaking worlds, no addictive gameplay loops or memorable story. Just go here, fight pirates, click on one thing, 30 seconds cutscene of talking, repeat.
I really, really want to love Starfield but I just don’t get it.
I recently watched a Twitch streamer play through all of the Fatal Frame games. It was a wild adventure. I heard that there’s a new Fatal Frame game coming out sometime soon and I’m stoked to check it out.
