Invasions aren’t toxic. You’re brute forcing a game balanced around solo play by abusing action economy and boss aggro. You can, at any time, start a boss and boot someone. Not to mention the overwhelming advantage you have over the invader should you choose to fight them.
I remember first seeing about this and thinking two things. 1 - this concept looks awesome. 2 - this trailer looks 100% staged.
This was at least a year, maybe 2 years ago? God it might be longer than that tbh.
I feel bad for anyone that was really excited for this, genuinely. I almost shared that excitement, were it not for being burned by other games in the past.
The game looks bad to me, I feel like the entire trailer is geared towards people who were kids when Jurassic Park 1 was fresh. Like this was a great idea! 29 years ago.
