I’m one step ahead of them. I’m not installing them in the first place. The utter gall of them removing The Crew permanently, and then saying ‘But hey, it’s ok, you can buy The Crew 2 instead’. Fuck off .
I find I keep accidentally clicking the thumbstick buttons, and I have the same problem with clicking the trackpads on the stream controllers. When the game gets tense I tend to increase my grip causing the clicks.
Between their stealing YouTube money from people giving them free advertising and never reducing the price of decades old games, if they make them available at all, and their shitty online experience, I’m amazed Nintendo has any market goodwill left, but reality never ceases to amaze me. Nostalgia is a powerful beast.
I understand they make some of the most fun games ever, but their legal department cancels that out by an order of magnitude.

Deliver at all costs is pretty hilarious all round, really. I’m enjoying it on the Deck.
Robocop was a cool game, as a fan of the first film (AND ONLY THE FIRST FILM). I played that earlier in the year. I need to try it again in VR now I’ve upgraded my hardware. It choked hard on my old graphics card.
Shotgun Cop Man. Short sweet and simple from the people that made My Friend Pedro. The movement system and level design feels pretty sublime when you get in a good flow. And I just discovered there’s Steam Workshop levels!
Borderlands isn’t that good, Randy. Is anyone that much of a fan of a genetic shooter who’s only distinguishing feature was the art style and the number of guns? (which I found got tiresome pretty quickly.) I played and enjoyed the first one, but from what I’ve played of 2 and the Pre-sequel, it was just more of the same so I haven’t bothered since.
I’m over the massive, over-produced games. I looked at the price of the new Indiana Jones game (AUD119), and even though I loved Machine Games’ previous work, I noped out. These days, I’m mostly reverting to simple arcade games more akin to the early era of gaming I grew up on. Shotgun Cop Man, from the people that made My Friend Pedro, just came out. It was $13. Finished it in one sitting, but I’ll probably play it multiple times. Much better investment.
