Can’t you have fun in dungeon crawlers by trying other party compositions? Or is EO badly balanced where you can only succeed with an specific composition?
Every few months I come back to black desert and level some characters just to drop again. I don’t like raiding from the more popular games but I also don’t like the lack of direct gameplay of the more sandbox ones, so this bizarre sandboxy-themepark scratches a very peculiar itch of mine.
You the pineappleEA guy? I love that I can have the patreon version for free with an easy updater thanks to the yuzu team stealing code from him and him having a vendetta.
You are being downvoted but reminder to everyone that the public Yuzu is way behind on updates and compatibility, they sell access to their most recent version via their patreon. Something that Ryujinx does not do, it purely is a donation and nothing more.
They are taking his income for life, that’s an insane overreach specially for a big successful company like Nintendo, and it didn’t matter since the actual team behind it is back selling flashcarts that are even better than having to solder a chip.
The main focus of Infinity is a live service offering, which is all told via the modern-day story. To start, Infinity will launch on the same day as Red and will contain several features that you would expect from a live service....
Diablo 4, a full priced game, has microtransactions that are as expensive as the game itself, and skins that cost as much as 30 USD, when a game doesn’t fuck the people as hard it draws attention.
The reason is the cash shop of course. I know, it’s cheap and fair compared to every other live services, but it still limits your play to be online only.
We can only hope the game does an Avengers when it closes down and patches offline play, but we can’t trust these companies.
After seeing the USA part of the video I understand why Cyberpunk always happens over there, what are those lack of rights holy shit, “it can’t be fraud because you had no right to your game to begin with”.
It’s like the law is some insane reality where you are a criminal for utilizing software after support was closed down, but in real life the game is effectively yours if it’s a single player. Also “the gaming sphere is very unique on it’s abuse of the lack of consumer protections”, I hope this industry rots to the bone, but I’ll still try to contact my national consumer protection agency in Brazil, Ubisoft is particularly big over here so maybe something can be done.
If a big enough market combats this we all win, remember, we only have steam refunds because Australia sued valve; but when only Belgium banned lootboxes EA just blocked it over there and moved on.
I mean, do you even have a bluray drive on your PC? That’s why they do it, I remember having the option to buy San Andreas on one dvd or 8 cds or something, precisely because people don’t often replace their drives.
It already was, activision and capcom both did that, and no, cheat DLCs aren’t accessibility, cheats should be free like they were back in the ps2 days and earlier.
Because the game isn’t free but the microtransactions are exceptionally high still are new characters going to be free since they are selling cosmetics? No, they aren’t so really, who’s winning here? I’m glad Project L is going to dethrone every single one of these games.
Payday 3 launched for Windows PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X | S in September 2023 but has seemingly struggled to win over players. The title currently has a ‘mixed’ rating on Steam with over 36,000 user reviews, although the vast majority of recent reviews have been ‘mostly negative.’...
Maybe they should unionize or walkout or something, costumers can’t fight their fight.
As proven with Volition, if we don’t buy their game in protest they are closed down anyway instead of getting another shot at something we actually want, nothing can change from this side.
There’s no vote with your wallet when the supply is infinite and intangible, me not buying the microtransaction is one person, but a single whale will buy several, getting multiple votes in “yes please continue to shove shit down my throat” this isn’t voting at all.
A crash is impossible at this point, the market is too big and vast, if AAA dies, mobile will live on like nothing happened, and guess where lootboxes and gacha started…
I’m glad they did that, change on a remake or something, I don’t recall if they actually did it for Anniversary since it was still a ps2 game, but if games are art they should be preserved as they were, this is just a remaster that you can even play with the old graphics if you want.
I wouldn’t buy it either because mobile devs have a terrible track record of not bothering to update their games to the newest version of the OS, the older the game, the less likely it is they will update it, I lost considerable money many years ago when CAVE shooters weren’t updated to the current (at the time) android version.
Even big ones like square enix had to be almost harassed to update The World Ends With You Solo Remix for newer versions and I think in 2021 capcom just gave up in updating monster hunter freedom unite.
They are the easiest one to make since you only need an arena and characters movesets, don’t even need to balance it properly since there’s no esports money to be made on it (unless it’s called gundam extreme versus).
