mudeth,

The skybox in E1 is from China FYI! E2 is from Zion National park. So if you really want to, you can explore them :)

A thread on DW with sources.

Controller recommendedation?

Looking to buy a new controller, currently have Xbox One but the thing is I don’t really like the sticks on these controllers, the way they push in and out means they don’t glide smoothly, I’ve used the Elite controllers and they don’t have this issue but $200+ is a little steep, so does anyone make a good controller...

mudeth,

Others have already recommended it but I want to pitch in; my 8bitdo pro is the best I’ve used (others I have are the DS4, xbox, a few Logitechs including the submarine one, and a fancy-ass Astro).

mudeth,

$5 to this person OP.

Linux isn’t going to help, and why the hell would you want to buy or pirate (and run the risk of malware) something you already own.

mudeth,

Are you seriously suggesting that a game meant to run on Windows 98 runs better on wine than it does on Windows 98?

mudeth,

If you like Unravel 2 you’ll love ITT. Similar vibe. Some other recommendations that I played through with my partner:

  • Brothers: a tale of two sons
  • A way out
  • Trine, Trine 2, Trine 3?, T4? Only played the first 2 in co-op
  • Guacamelee, G2 (only played 2 in co-op, 1 was in solo)
mudeth,

I get only 30 on series S and Xbone at 1080. I don’t think the game does 60fps sadly.

Dragon Age: Origins walked so Baldur’s Gate 3 could dash (www.techradar.com)

Baldur’s Gate 3 isn’t the first successful attempt to marry cinematic aspirations with the traditional branching narratives and simulationist world-building of CRPGs. 2009’s Dragon Age: Origins had a very similar mission statement, offering a spiritual successor to BioWare’s earlier Baldur’s Gate titles long before...

mudeth,

Tell me more about what you disliked about D:OS. I’m playing through in co-op (in the endgame right now) and want to commiserate.

For me it was the bugs and some weird choices where things that should work to progress don’t, and some progress is so convoluted that we had to look it up and we were like ugh wth.

Looking up stuff is annoying when something you’re sure should work logically doesn’t.

mudeth,

Fair. I was playing a warrior so combat wasn’t as much an issue for me. Tbh when we were starting, someone told us to play DOS 2 instead of 1 since it’s a better gameplay experience and I wonder if all these rough edges have been fixed.

mudeth,

I’m playing co-op, so I have one PC and manage one companion, and the other player does the same.

What are some game genres / styles you like that aren't being made anymore, or are being mde but not very often? angielski

For me it’s first person puzzle games. I can think of maybe a dozen off the top of my head that came out in the last decade. I especially enjoy when they’re open world. The ability to just quit a puzzle that’s stumped you and go try something else for a little bit is incredibly refreshing.

mudeth,

Since you haven’t mentioned Ion Fury, I’m going to add it to that list. Not interesting for PC since they wanted PvP but it’s a great Build engine shooter.

mudeth,

If you haven’t heard, Croteam have announced The Talos Principle 2.
