moody, do gaming w PlayStation's "Concord" is getting absolutely decimated into oblivion by "Squirrel with a Gun".

Depends what you mean by good. Is it silly pointless fun? Yes it is.

Is it deep, compelling gameplay with a lot of replayability? No.

It plays kind of like Untitled Goose Game in a way. Short themed sections with vague goals.

moody, do games w Remedy and Annapurna announce a strategic partnership agreement on Control 2 and bringing Control and Alan Wake to film and television

Why?

It’s certainly possible, but AFAIK their objections have been about piracy and copyright infringement. At least I haven’t read or heard anything about trade secrets being at issue.

This only applies to trademarks and the risk of genericization. You don’t lose copyrights that way.

moody, do games w The Verge Under Fire For Publishing Info About ‘Deadlock,’ Valve’s Secret Shooter

Meh, I don’t think there’s anything morally wrong with what he did. What he did wasn’t just legal, it’s literally his job. The only issue is that Valve is now angry at him for their own failing.

To continue the same analogy, they didn’t just leave the gate open, they literally invited a bunch of people and told them to invite other people. I’m not sure what they expected if not this exact situation.

moody, do gaming w Scientifically proven by Dr. Lamar Davis

That 2% includes forgetting to use one, running out and being too horny to abstain, and various other excuses for why you’re not wearing one when you’ve agreed beforehand that you would.

I believe it’s over a period of one year.

moody, do gaming w Dr Disrespect fired by the game studio he co-founded: 'It is our duty to act with dignity on behalf of all individuals involved'

That guy looks like the weekly bad guy on a episode of Starsky and Hutch from the 70’s

You’re not wrong, but that’s also just a persona he plays, the hair and mustache are both fake. I don’t know how close the persona is to the real person, but I’m sure he’s hamming it up to some extent, just not enough to be a good person pretending.

moody, do gaming w Imagine, if you can.

You sound like a fun person.

moody, do games w FromSoftware says Elden Ring's popular Seamless Co-op mod is 'definitely not something we actively oppose,' and may even 'consider ideas like that with our future games'

The concept behind short-term multiplayer in a long game is pretty cool. The invasions and the jolly cooperation are fun features.

But an actual 2-player session is a completely different experience, and something a lot of people are looking for

moody, do gaming w Games like punch out?

There are also arcade and Wii versions of Punch Out.

moody, do games w What are some eras of gaming that you've stopped feeling nostalgic for?

Kind of sad that all of the games named were made by Nintendo or Rare (which was basically owned by Nintendo at the time)

How many third-party games were any good?

moody, do games w UK petition of "Require videogame publishers to keep games they have sold in a working state" just got thrown back to the Government

That’s sort of what they do, except they still call it a purchase. I’ve never seen the word ‘rental’ on any game store. They shouldn’t be allowed to even call it a purchase if it isn’t one.

moody, do games w Hades II is now available in Steam Early Access!

I’m not aware of that happening, but I can’t say for sure. Typically the games stay Early Access until they announce the official release.

moody, do games w Who all is out there, setting different sensitivities for X and Y on their mouse settings? Does anybody actually do this?

I don’t usually change the Y sensitivity, but I use a grip sort of halfway between a palm and fingertip grip, where I use my fingers for smaller movements, and my wrist for larger ones, so I can definitely see why some would want to.

moody, do games w Who all is out there, setting different sensitivities for X and Y on their mouse settings? Does anybody actually do this?

I think depending on what type of grip you use on your mouse, it might change what sensitivity you want to use. It’s easy to cover wider distances with your wrist moving left-right, but harder to cover the same distance using your fingers to move up-down.
