It involves lugging out 12" dob (we mostly hang out ~120x mag, but I have plans to really juice the magnification if we get small classes and good seeing), some binoculars, and a green laser pointer. I live half a world away so I can’t attend but I think it’s a cool concept. I have no idea how long it takes to re-align the scope between takes.
There is definitely some magic in that, I don’t know if you have both scopes, then you can set an automatic up for people that just want to take a quick peek, and use the manual to explain your story.

With games people used to setup their own servers. (And we liked it that way. Way more sense of a community.) So that could be an option. Allow people to run their own servers again.
