Currently trying to avoid as many products as I feasible can that are owned directly by China, plus with the controversy of their review tactics being kind of about, I’ll pass on this game and wait for the seas to calm
It was my go to console and my DVD player for years. Played so many JRPGs on there and made me a lifelong fan of ratchet and clank and one of the few games that my now wife could play (she’s terrible with video games). Still lamenting that Dark Cloud series never got the success o thought it should have.
Still have my PS2, still boots and all of it, including the mad catz controller, still works.
I wish that was actually the case but we all know marketing works like gang busters on gamers looking for their next fix. It it wasn’t they wouldn’t be hiring psychologists and paying them mid to high six figure starting salaries.
Up to a point. I mean they have to get a large player base still and if by and large gamers just didn’t pre-order and buy the latest fucking re-hashed, yearly version of COD, I doubt just the whales would be enough to sustain them since whales only get gratification of pay to win against other people.
I mean look at some of the latest rounds of shitty GaaS. Suicide squad, Marvel avengers. No playerbase, not enough whales to sustain.
You know you have options to block and filler what you see so you can live in your bubble of only positivity while the AAAA gaming industry continues to get worse.
Heck, I mean feel free to block me since I tend to post positive and negative stories of it bothers you so much, no skin off my back while I post positive stories about Arrowhead and Larian Studios until they start doing things that aren’t positive.
It looks too be a lot of ‘meh’ to me. I honestly don’t think the game’s story will translate well into any other medium and certainly the humor that makes the original BL games isn’t what I would call mainstream so that will just get watered down to nothing. Plus the casting looks off.
