I have zero experience with epic or gog, but steam got incredibly bad lately. It’s not uncomon for it to consume 2 entire CPU cores just by animating some store page background.

I’ve never felt more sick than after trying the VR for the first time. GearVR on Samsung Galaxy S6. Never happened again though, regardless of how much time I spent in.

The main issue on this headset was that I felt like my head was really small, while turning. I think the camera was just rotating on it’s own axis, or around a sphere that was way smaller than a human head.

The only difference between gear and quest, is that the phone cannot be taken out of the quest, plus it has more sensors.

Now add a touchpad, and you got yourself a steam controller! The ability to dim down the LED indicator would also be nice.

When I first discovered DLSS/FSR, I thought it was a miracle. It allowed my antient PC to run Horizon : Zero Dawn reasonably well.

Then I tried it on the steamdeck, just to be shocked how horrible it looks. Turns out the magic ingredient was my myopia. I just couldn’t see the imperfections while sitting 2 meters away from the TV.
