Agreed. I loved and still love Megaman X. Just replayed it recently and it’s remarkably short. I recall it costing near $70 when we got it. People would be rioting if such a short linear game came out at that price point today, which is why it’s bundled with 3 other games for $20 now.
I mean, I do still play these games. I also play new games, so I don’t agree with the comic. Still, Chrono Trigger, FFT WoL, Secret of Mana, Parasite Eve, Xenogears, and some others are still on my PS Vita and I’ve been replaying them. I need to find Megaman X as well, as I loved that game.
Everyone of my brothers and sisters game, some even Genshin, and none of them have problems finding partners. Same with most of my friends. Just don’t have a shit personality and people won’t judge you by just one hobby. Oh, we all are into anime/animelike entertainment in one way or another too.
I killed my Cyberpunk game trying to mod it. I just changed the installation directory, re-download, and loaded from cloud save when I got sick of trying to fix it. It’s so easy to recover from stuff like that nowadays.
I’m not familiar with homestuck but did read a lot of Order of the Stick, where one villian is completely fine with being the bad guy who is to be defeated. In fact, he relishes it, and hopes the story of him being taken out makes him a legend. I forgot I was paying for game pass, so that’s why I’m playing it now. I’m having some fun, but the revisit when mods finish feels pretty true. I only have one loaded atm, but definitely considering some others.
Half the reason I play Elite is space trucking. I’m only raising my empire rank to get the largest ship… in order to space truck better. The Fed Corvette I plan to make a combat vessel, but the Cutter will be my space truck.
