I feel like Call of Duty 4 modernized and standardized the FPS genre on at least consoles. Every call of duty game still looks and feels exactly the same since CoD4 and every other first person shooter copied it’s control scheme because it was so firmly cemented.
I’m Just curious about, do you prefer RPGs (Role-Playing Games) or FPS (First-Person Shooters)? Personally, I love getting lost in the story and character development of RPGs, but the fast-paced action of FPS games is hard to resist. What about you? Which one do you enjoy more and why? I cannot share specific numbers, but I can say that we had an internal metric we were aiming for that had been approved, and that we exceeded that number by a significant portion. We also got a thumbs up a few weeks before launch.
Who cares? As long as you’re able to play offline I don’t see why this matters at all. Out of all the shitty DRM’s these days this seems like it’s at least mildly effective without being too much of a hassle or a violation of privacy and security. Kotaku just whines about anything.
There’s absolutely nothing in no man’s sky that’s meant to be a space sim in any way at all or even has any resemblance. It’s not hyperbolic. The dev has always called it an imagination of the science fiction idea of the 80s which is supposed to capture the feel of something that would be in an arcade.
Not saying it’s a bad game, but it’s not a sim. At all.
I can’t really think of a worse way to spend my time. Just go explore bro. If new Vegas is fantastic to you there’s a whole world of gold out there to find.
