I think I am going to go Xbox next time around for console games. The PS5 has been a let down in terms of game selection and overall improvements. I actually get mad when I go to look at games in the store and the ads and clips are blurry and low res because Sony dont invest in their backend to stream at a decent resolution.

I bought a meh pc yesterday because Im going to use that moving forward, pay for myinternet once and use it when I want.

Prices have changed since then, tvs were serious investments that ate up a significant portion of your income. It was a different consideration back then.

I have had the same issue with 10gb and 1gb internet. Their store has terrible optimisation even though they baked it into the ps5.

Sony puts their games on PC too, I just dont want to support them anymore. I will probably go pc fulltime. I stopped with Nintendo too because of how badly they sucked.

People dont deal with more freedom, I know I dont. I have a pc and ps5 and prefer the simplicity of the ps5 setup which is a big selling point.

Definitely pirate it, it is a fantastic game. There is a whole area you find by accident that has more to do than a lot of games main story. The story is brilliant, I really love these two games.

I got shafted moving house and playing Hitman, my progress saved but I without a connection my scores didnt save. So I got to level 2 but I got no credit for level 1.

I want to go back to RDR2 but I’m not a fan of how slow moving the intro is and I don’t want to do loads of bullshit before having fun.

Super Mario Bros Wonder… I’m playing through it now. It’s a bit shit. They’ve definitely tried some stuff here which isn’t bad but very little is landing for me. I don’t like the new kingdom, I don’t like the map experience or aesthetic and I dislike some of the level building.

When I played Mario Maker 2 I saw the reason behind the success for the franchise in that there was a secret sauce to how a level is made and it is apparently missing from a lot of these. On top of that the castle battles are fairly lackluster with no sign of Bowser.

I’ll finish it but it’s miles behind the previous entries, all of them I think

My issue with getting into indie gaming is I have no idea where to start. I always end up with some frantic platformer that doesn’t do anything for me. But I just want games that aren’t a mess on release and everyone says to go indie.

I don’t think I’ve played anything exclusive to the PS5. Not worth buying in my opinion.

I have played stuff exclusive to the switch, I mostly dislike it though. I’m not sure why, I think it’s that they don’t compete because they have us with their catalogue and I dislike their business practices, selling gimmicks and vaulting content. Especially given most of the switch games are port of Wiiu games then it probably is skippable.

Yeah the video makes it look fairly good, wall climbing and scent based detective play.

Tbh it’s made me enthused for the game even if the build is lacking detail and lighting.

Deception’s Konquest is top tier MK story mode.

The PS2 games we’re in a different league and they don’t even tease a remake.

The Dodge and fatality are brilliant, some of the other moves are generic and others are just random and not at all to do with him specifically.

Tremor looks cool though.

The hitman series is fantastic, but I will buy a PC and pirate a cracked version of this if they make online necessary.

I lost a lot of progress when I moved house and bought Hitman 3, couple of weeks waiting for connection and then when I get it it constantly drops the server connection.

This game is likely to be incredible but do not IO do that shite again.

I got Hogwarts game the other day and there are known bug affecting gameplay for months. That fucking shield flashing up constantly is painful.

Tangentially, I haven’t played in ages but they should have made it local coop so we can have fun on the courses without having to play through the same few opening courses and deal with lobbies.

Yeah I’m not sure if Wonder will be good, I mean probably because they have a high standard and all but still. I do think Maker is different in that the world design is unimportant, secret levels and Easter eggs etc. and there is zero curation. I actually gave up after a bit because I kept just getting ridiculous levels that were boring.
