Black Flag, followed closely by 3. It doesn’t hurt that those were released right at the peak of my interest in gaming, but I replayed BF within the past two years and it still holds up super well

It’s actually pretty crazy just how hard that game flopped. I would have always thought that a company like Sony could’ve just brute-forced such a big project to achieve some success (or at least break even), but 25,000 units sold is almost unheard of for a game as expensive as Concord.

Funny because I noticed the haptic feedback for the first time recently after owning my PS5 for over a year and was instantly looking for ways to disable it. I don’t trust an unnecessary vibrating motor not to fuck up the parts of the controller I actually care about keeping functional and the Dualsense battery life is abysmal enough as it is

Man, I’m glad that people are enjoying the game as much as they say they are but I tried my first play through earlier this year and it was terrible. I saw almost no difference in the amount/type of glitches between what I experienced back in January and what I saw online when the game first released a few years ago.

What?? Faith might be the only interesting character in the whole FC series. I don’t think you understand the character’s backstory at all, TBH. The original Faith was the Seeds’ sister who died young, so the brothers kidnap young women in the cult, drug them (I forget what the name of the drug is in the game), and convince them that they’re Faith Seed. Eventually that woman dies so they replace her with another. It’s horribly tragic and, in my opinion, is leagues above the standard character writing of the Far Cry games

Reading this comment makes me give kudos for letting GTA V (singleplayer) exist as its own thing. I haven’t played GTAO since probably 2015 and have no idea what it’s like because of how little Rockstar pushes it on Singleplayer players.

It probably cost more in development to port the game to Switch than any other console. Graphics quality is irrelevant when users willingly buy a device with worse hardware than consoles. This seems like a case of “fans” wanting to eat their cake and have it too.

Didn’t play it but I had to drop PD2 with about 200 hours on it after all the microtransactions got too much to deal with. Coupled with the fact that hosts could leave games in the middle of a heist with no punishment and risking your account being banned for accidentally getting on a crew with a hacker, the game lost a lot of its appeal.

Idk my account was banned for about a month within the first year of the game coming out because a hacker started spawning infinite money bags on the Harvest bank. It took about a month of emails with support to get my account unbanned. It’s possible that they’ve since slacked off on enforcement, but I haven’t played the game in easily 5 years at this point.

Does anyone have any suggestions for horror games that aren’t frustratingly difficult? I feel like with most horror games, the scare factor wears off after the second restart because game developers think that one-hit enemies and no weapons makes things scarier, but I disagree.

The last real horror game that I played was The Iron Lung and while it was great, the total game has almost no replay value and can be completed in under an hour.
