I need some suggestions on what to play. Single Player games only. Most of the games make me feel lonely and alone. In most of the games, the protagonist has to deal with the problems on their own, like Control, Crysis, Ghost of Tsushima, God of War (I liked the original 6 more than the new ones, even though the new ones had...
After playing World of Warcraft for 15 years, I started becoming increasingly bored and disgruntled with the game. The game being grindy and repetitive is no real surprise, I mean it’s an MMO. But the one thing that was really frustrating was paying monthly for a subscription and a huge chunk of cash for an expansion, but...
I left mmos due to my wife spending to much on "free" games for awhile. I miss them in some ways but also am sorta glad. They were easy to over indulge in and I have a lot of responsibilities. single player, buy once and done, games along with streaming shows or movies is so much easier to take or leave. No limited events or dailies or anything.
I want to play Bloodborne because quite frankly it looks really cool. I’m told the game is going to be way too difficult for me. I usually play games on standard or easy difficulty. Should I even bother? Is this game even going to be playable to a noob like me?
I honestly suck. Im a nerd Xer who played games with my real gamer friend but I played but was only like ok. I played elden ring and expected to drop it but found it fun. I think its very much perspective. I treat it as more an exploration game and story where death is just a mechanic. Your basically supposed to die over and over. That made it fine for me. Its like I hate pvp but I played a pvp mmo awhile back called shadowbane and initially I hated it but then I just sorta switched my perspective to view the griefers as just really hard monsters or content and built around it and found it fun enough.

After the massive blunder of Starfield, I cannot see how Elder scrolls 6 could possibly be successful. Everything points to the fact that they knew that the game was not even half finished, in my opinion, with major glaring issues, and they decided to just send it off anyway. The difference between this game and Oblivion is that...
where does AAA even come from. Is it like michelin stars and the american automobile association started it. If not why don't I hear about the AA or just A or B or C or D games. They should do like the recording industry and have categories based on amount sold and I would limit sales for full retail price. Once they set the price as what they think of it then they only get credit for those who pay full freight. Just to limit deeply discounting to pump the numbers and maybe to encourage a reasonable starting price.
It amazes me the stuff that flys under the radar with them. Close to the time they were boycotting the last temptation of christ piers anthony wrote a book where a woman takes over for god.
Not trying to sound like I have rose tinted glasses or whatever but lots of my favorite AA+ games, including AAA, are so low effort now. My favorite game ever is World of Warcraft, and it’s just shocking seeing how little content you get for your $15 a month. They have been drip feeding it for years, now they are going so far...

Im excited for something like this as I would like to see more form factors. tv sticks, tablets, workstations, gaming laptops. I know anyone can do the last two but having a hardware vendor cover the software officialy is sorta a big thing
well it will help if you can get many of the same internet streaming apps you have with firetv stick and such. so people might just buy it to steam netflix and be part of the market outside of the ones using the game streaming.
the game is Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. I took this while exploring during the main story. I’m in love with the way this game looks graphically. The way the lighting is handled is gorgeous

I beat him with the heal the golem method combined with rotting him using aonia (first time that spell was useful for me but its a one strike rot and you can pretty much come up behind him with the golem)
I mean I see his point in that you don't have to take the blessings. Granted I have not had an issue so far but I have just gotten to the end of the castel that lost its p and teleported out to do some minor dungeons so im basically the type that gathers up all the buffs and such I can before hitting a particular thing. That mausaleem guy is still kicking my ass but I only tried 3 or 4 times but heck I can come back to him when I have completed if I want.
Yeah I get it. To be honest hearing about how hard it was I started playing perfectly expecting to stop as it became insurmountable but its surprisingly surmountable if you accept that dieing is just part of it. In some ways it reminds me of shadowbane which was a pvp nightmare and I totally thought I would stop playing but once I just viewed the gankers and such as just hard npc monsters I found enjoyment in it. I have not thought about that came in awhile but playing it was a lot like elden ring. run run run run.
Just got him night comet and power stancing staff of loss. I was close with it before but I was at level 3 on the buffs but I went back with 7 and got through. So I sorta overleveled to beat him.
I saw a tiny bit and they seem legit, they gave content creators early access to the DLC and now there’s a lot of gameplay, bosses, and story being spoiled on social media. Be careful out there.
is it really that hard. I have to search for posts about a game to see things about the game on the whole and most things specifcally about a subject are pretty good about spoiler tags and even then usually the subject will indicate to you if its dangerous spoiler wise.
