@ItsThatDeafGuy I bet it’s still a nice bicycle (assuming it’s Cannondale). With the parts listed I’m upgrading my existing gravel bike currently sporting Sora shifters and GRX 400 rear mech. I recently bathed it in deep mud and it doesn’t shift in acceptable manner… I’d have to recable it… @cycling @rower

@RogerNield Thanks! I’m trying to actively avoid this approach by cycling at least once a day. Every day!😁 Sometimes it’s in the rain, snow or at night. Sometimes more than once a day…🤷🏻‍♂️🙈 @cycling @rower

@mlabowicz Well, I live in so called „Flatpoland”, a parody of Greater Poland region’s name. The nearest „hill” is around 20km from where I live and it’s like 60m climb at best…😂@cycling @rower

@QRSS_Test I can afford it, but there’s wife to consult the budget…🤣 The bike has a unique setup and it would cost even more to build it again to the specs. It has mullet drivetrain (mbt cranks, GRX, road shifters), 650B wheels with dynamo hub and lights and semi mechanical TRP Spyre disc brakes (on purpose, no bleeding)… It’s almost impossible to buy something like that of the shelf…🤷🏻‍♂️ @cycling @rower

@boardmad Well, I’m excited to say I made the purchase! Can’t wait to put it on my gravel bike and trash it in the mud…🙉 I also decided to swap my 34t chainring to 38t. I can’t imagine the scenario I’d need 34 by 50…😂 @cycling @rower

@nickzoic Well, I was getting along with 34/42 on all the climbs I’ve been to. 34/50 would be an overkill, and my pedaling top speed was quite low. 38/50 is still easier than I’ve had it before…🤷🏻‍♂️ @boardmad @cycling @rower

@boardmad Ugh, that’s to hard on my legs. I mostly ride in my flat region, but on occasions I go the the mountains to do some climbing. Now with the growing family I can only afforded take one of my bikes. So it is gravel, because it’s more universal, therefore the gearing…🥰@nickzoic @cycling @rower

! After rainy and muddy sea, I had to overflow rear derailleur cable with to make it somewhat work… I’m now pissed because I will have to redo that cable… Good luck with internally routed handlebars… I guess might as well switch my to GRX800 rear mech…🤷🏻‍♂️ @cycling @rower
