Kiedyś już pisałem o tej książce, ale właśnie ją skończyłem i napiszę jeszcze raz. Fascynująca podróż ponad 500 kilometrów piechotą, śladami ojca autorki, wypędzonego że Śląska w 1945. Powroty do małej ojczyzny dziadków, spotkania z Polakami, Czechami i Ślązakami spojrzenia drugiego i trzeciego pokolenia na wojnę, przesiedlenia, współczesność Europy, Unię, skorelowane z traumami przesiedleńców, do bólu szczery portret wszystkich wymienionych narodów i pokoleń plus równie szczery autoportret autorki i jej relacji z rodzicami i dziadkami. Absolutnie warto przeczytać, szczególnie że książka napisana i przetłumaczona bardzo dobrze.
