This is what I found from a Reddit comment: Debrid services literally are just like if you downloaded from the share website directly, as if you had signed up for an account with them. And/or the debrid service downloads the torrent on their server, and you stream from it.
This is already protecting you from any potential legal issue.
Some people may get warnings/potential legal trouble for torrenting directly, but this is only because when using torrent you also become a hoster of the content yourself. This doesn’t happen with these.
Think you’ve missed the point a bit of OP’s comment. They’re asking not how the end-user is protected from copyright claims, but how the debrid service itself is.
I guess it would, aside speed, this is another big reason for some users to get it, as a third world country person I couldn’t care less about torrenting, nor data caps now that I remember 🤣
Root and myandroidtools. You then go to that specific app, list all the activities it can do, then disable any which has a name related to ads like “adsActivity”. At that point it can’t show full screen ads at all.
Some games they give you the reward immediately but nowadays the ad SDKs they can check if the ad was shown or not so it gives an error
Nice thing is, you don’t have to. It’ll still patch the apk for you, it just won’t install it (having root allows it to overwrite the current app, allowing you to keep your data)
You might have a hard time on a pi if transcoding occurs. Use something like pymedusa and couch potato for automatic downloads of tv shows and movies, and something like transmission for a torrent client. They all have docker images. Check out linuxserver.io
I have limited grasp of transcoding, but there are just a few of us hitting the Plex server, and everyone is using Roku TVs or Roku boxes, which I thought were generally okay with most current file encodings, but maybe I have that wrong.
i had a super stable provider for years that was shutdown by the fed and have been itching to find another US-based provider. hoping this new directory helps accomplish that!
It’s fairly entertaining but you really have to suspend disbelief. I’d call it fantasy with some sci-fi jargon more than actual sci-fi. I guess I could say overall plot doesn’t make a lot of sense but scenery on the way isn’t too hard on the eyes.
