On

Bilbo, w G4TV Reruns

I always wanted to see the first season of Portal. Lots of story I missed out on. Is that available anywhere?

peasinspace,

youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcd_fcE1qvNGk5gkdmWHzL…

apparently its up on youtube! so thankful for DVRs and their ilk. and the people who recorded and shared. true mvps

Bilbo,

Whoa, there are more early ones there than last time I looked. Still missing a bunch, but it’s better.

XbSuper, w We’ve suspended player trading in Diablo IV until further notice due to a gold and item duplication exploit.

Really glad I held off on buying this game.

gk99,

I’m really glad I never really developed an interest in Diablo. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this is supposed to be the same sort of genre as Minecraft Dungeons and Torchlight, right? Not some weird fucking pretend MMO where disabling features at players’ expense is just okay?

Activision-Blizzard’s obsession with stripping player freedom out of their games is suffocating. This franchise used to have mods, now you’re not even allowed to trade if they find out that people who don’t want to grind are duping items.

Corkyskog, w Overwatch 2 is now Steam's "worst game of all time"
@Corkyskog@sh.itjust.works avatar

Does anyone know if you can get regular Overwatch for PS5? I assume it’s restricted to Overwatch 2 to push the microtransactions?

When you buy a game and it turns out it’s just a direct debit. Games aren’t supposed to be fun they’re supposed to make money off you plebs

Hyggyldy, w We’ve suspended player trading in Diablo IV until further notice due to a gold and item duplication exploit.

Every day I’m more glad I didn’t buy it. Didn’t even cost me much friend time. They only played it for about a week.

Not fixing any of the cheat exploits that the private servers did, which they shut down…

sep, w Half-Life is not dead, as new Steam record shows Valve we all still care

Reminds me of New World. That was full of exploits and each time the devs blocked trading, sometimes for days at a time.

Yeah, the numbers also show that TF2 has always been alive and popular. Valve don’t care about anything.

How ya doing blizzard?

Ohh

ngcbassman,

Same reaction, once Baldur’s Gate 3 was out I haven’t touched this game, and probably I’ll wait for a couple of months until they fix the mess they have

wizenheimer, w We’ve suspended player trading in Diablo IV until further notice due to a gold and item duplication exploit.

Anyone who engages in item duplication will have their account actioned? Wtf. Imagine if they took away your Pokemon cartridge just for duping an item.

coyootje,

It’s the standard Blizzard approach to do that, they used to do the same thing in WoW. I hope they do look at how many times someone’s done it. If they’ve only done it once (or maybe twice), maybe just give them a warning. If more, then consider banning them.

Chozo,

It's pretty common for online games that have player-to-player trading systems. The developers are usually very protective of their in-game economies, because while they don't officially support grey markets, they know that the existence of grey markets is the sole reason a huge chunk of players (often whales) play their game in the first place. It's in Blizzard's best interest to ensure that there isn't in-game inflation.

ilikekeyboards,

Imagine paying 70$ for a f2p mmo where you always just play by yourself but you get banned if you cheat

I call my daughter half-life 3

I don’t have a daughter

If only it came to Xbox :(

I could play on my Deck, but I want to play this one co-op. We still have the Divinity games, which D:OS2 is apparently very similar, but I wanna try this!

Caitlynn,
@Caitlynn@feddit.de avatar

If you can connect your Xbox controller to your Deck, you can still play it in Coop, just ignore the gaphics and you’re good to go

Im doing thus all the time with my Manjaro Laptop all the time

oryx,
@oryx@lemmy.world avatar

Not when the friend I want to play with is a seven hour drive away and only owns an Xbox.

It’ll be coming sometime next year. Making splitscreen work on the Series S is holding up development.
