Kinda! I am a bit overloaded atm. Never finished elden ring due to an arthritis flare, absorbed with persona 5 atm, haven’t played disco Elysium yet either.
Trying to find more time for non gaming hobbies and even so a new update for oxygen not included just game out!
There’s been a glut of excellent games lately. Even stuff like Dave the diver is pretty absorbing. I’m keen to give it a go eventually though! after mechwarrior 5 proved too sloggy I’ve been a bit starved of mech games, so much so I’ll settle for weeb samuri suit shit ;p (I kid I kid it’s very silly aesthetically but we all squeeled with glee at the Pacific rim rocket punch)
I’m glad it’s not multiplayer so I can enjoy it at my leisure.
Remember the Quake 2 RTX version? Remember how no one played it? It’s just, not a good look, runs slow and just isn’t needed. This is all just to make more people buy Nvidia cards.
I have no idea what you’re talking about. Quake 2 RTX is my go-to recommendation if someone wants to see what raytracing is actually about. Not only are there some built in tools to fiddle with lighting but the end result makes such a huge difference that I can’t see myself playing Quake 2 again without raytracing. Out of all the RTX supported games Quake 2 was the one that blew me away the most. It makes bright areas bright and dark areas actually dark and you can see how light sources, in real time, change the look of the environment.
Just a reminder than Alan Wake and Control are in the same universe. There was a really good DLC for Control that takes place after the events of Alan Wake.
What an odd trailer for what this patch is. Going back to the Reddit post that kicked it off feels like something you do for a 1.0 release. And the rhykker clip is specifically referencing content that is not part of this patch.
It was completely irrelevant sound bites set over some video of a Runemaster running around casting some spells.
From what I’ve played Killing Floor 2 is at the top of my list when it comes to satisfying gunplay. The original was lots of fun too. As long as this one keeps up the quality, it seems like it is hard for them to fail, right?
I’m excited, but I’m not done with BG3 yet, and I’m also supposed to be getting stuff in order so that I can move, so it’s going to have to wait until next month.
It’s probably irresponsible of me, but now that I’m older and have expendable income - I will buy games, (usually on sale but sometimes at full price) to support the Devs of games I like. (Provided initial reviews are positive and the game is in a decent state, not riddled with micro-trans ect.)
Even if I don’t have the time to play it. I know I could get some games cheaper if I buy them later but I think the initial sales numbers are a big factor in whether or not certain franchises get continued funding.
