That my total playtime is still only 10 months. I could have sworn I had spent over a year by now.

$0.26/hour is pretty good!

Apeeksiht, do games w In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam.

Anything unreal engine feels generic tbh same graphics same type of effects meh.

hal_5700X, do games w Sony blocks Stellar Blade in more than 100 countries

Sony being retarded again. It much be a day who ends with a y.

kyle, do games w What's the most surprising thing when you look up your username in SteamDB?

It says I have nearly 4k hours playing games, but I have a single game at 1k hours and only a few in the 100 hour range. Idk how it got that high, I feel like it’s counting non-games but idk what.

XTornado,

Wallpaper Engine will do it for ya if like you say counts non-games.

vagrantprodigy, do games w What's the most surprising thing when you look up your username in SteamDB?

Only 2000 hours in 19 years? Doesn’t feel right, but I guess many of my games aren’t from Steam.

CharlesReed, do games w What's the most surprising thing when you look up your username in SteamDB?

There's only 4 games that I've bought that I've paid over $55 for. Over the 10 years I've apparently been on Steam, I would have thought there'd be more in that price range, but I guess I've been pretty good at taking advantage of sales.

stormesp, do games w Starfield crosses 230k+ concurrent early access players ($100 USD)

The headline doesnt make any sense. It crossed 230k CONCURRENT (playing at the same time right now) on steam. That does not mean that 230k players have bought the early access. They have probably more than a million or two early access players at least between xbox and pc (both steam and microsoft store) to have those numbers on steam alone in concurrent players.

Fair enough I fixed it and added more info.

evujumenuk, do games w In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam.

Hopefully, it sold more on consoles. Otherwise, numbers like this could kill a fledgling studio outright.

TurnItOff_OnAgain, do games w In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam.

I forgot about this game. It looked interesting. I’ll wait for it to come to gamepass or be on sale.

sugar_in_your_tea,

IDK, Denuvo + EA account makes this a hard sell for me. If those are removed, I may consider it at $20, but definitely not $60.

TurnItOff_OnAgain,

I’ll be playing on Xbox, so that doesn’t ant matter to me.

rickyrigatoni, do games w Stellar Blade removes its region lock on Steam, now available in most of the world

Remember when helldivers did this then Sony made them re-implement the region lock, making people unable to play the game they bought?

Please if you live on the other side of the wall just wait for empress, if she even still alive, to do her thing or for denuvo to be removed.

nostalgicgamerz,

I think empress retired bro.

Last thing I heard she was doing self harm to herself allegedly and shut her telegram server down

Is half-life cyberpunk?

Tattorack,
@Tattorack@lemmy.world avatar

Not really.

MissGutsy,

As a genre? I would say no. Cyberpunk is usually described as a capitalist dystopia in which a handful of companies supersede government powers and wage wars against each other beyond the concepts of national borders. In addition, cybernetic enhancements become commonplace, as a way for companies to extract more value from their workers. Cyberpunk stories usually are about groups rebelling against the system through organized crime, who ultimately fail to escape the underlying system of capitalism, doomed to repeat history time and time again.

HL2 falls in none of the genre stereotypes. While it is dystopian, it’s not capitalist, so it’s not “punk” and it isn’t “cyber” either because of a lack of commonplace cybernetics.

The workshop is a complete mess right now. There are multiple copies of every mod because people just rushed to get them on there.

It’ll be funny when everyones game breaks after the dust settles.

StringPotatoTheory, do games w What's the most surprising thing when you look up your username in SteamDB?

That I’ve only played 400 out of the 1600 games I own (in my defense I got a lot of these games from bundles) and I have 6800 hours total playtime.
