If you want similar old school meets new vibes, Celeste, Hollow Knight, Crosscode, and Another Crab’s Treasure are all very fun. Crosscode in particular I just finished, and my gosh it was one of my favorites this year. Can’t wait for the next game from the devs!
I love Crosscode! I don’t think any of these games you mentioned scratch the same itch though. They’re definitely great, but are missing the kind of simplicity of an old-school platformer that I’ve got in mind.
I grabbed a bunch of games for Playstation, Steam and Switch. Some were cross platform so I could have gotten it for any of them. I grabbed a bunch of Atelier and Senran Kagura games, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, plus old JRPGs on a discount like Omega Quintet, Seven Pirates H, Mugen Souls, and Megadimension Neptunia VII. I do want to get the Romancing Saga 2 Remake but since I am still playing the Remaster on XBox, I decided to wait.
Nelke & the Legendary Alchemists: Ateliers of the New World is going to scratch my simcity itch. I am not ready to get into Cities Skylines 2, yet, I did play the first though. I had Estival Versus and Peach Beach Splash on the Playstation but they have graphical glitches on the PS5, so I got them again for Steam discounted. I also bought Theatrhythm for the Switch though I already had it for Playstation. Also got Patapon.
Lies of P. It was pretty good. 30 hours for the first run through. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’ve already played sekiro and some dark souls, as I think they do it better.
Working my way through Baldurs Gate 2 ee. Never finished it back in the early 00s. Maybe this time I’ll rescue Imoen and figure out Jon Irenicus’ deal. Currently still side questing.
I think you’re going about this wrong. You need to represent this as a potential legal issue so they pass it off to the legal department, who will then do things to cover their ass
You don’t want to threaten, just make it legalese enough to make customer support get nervous. Something like citing GDPR sections and expressing your concerns that they have not properly complied with your legally mandated request, then officially requesting all data they still have on you and citing that section of law
Smart…well damn, if they’re that blasé about it I’d consider it a public service to escalate. You could contact Microsoft’s legal department, they might take it more seriously
You could also reach out to an organization like the ACLU in your country, they may or may not do anything with it, but they’ll probably make note of it at least. It could push them to take action in the future
FWIW, I respect you for going this far, and doing so intelligently. It might just be a little thing, but it’s fighting for your rights. Every inch matters, because they’ll take them all from us if they can
wow i did not expect such rave reviews. now im extra excited to try this out. hope my fucking shite internet allows the game to download and doesnt randomly stop every 5 minutes
update: yeah ill have to play this tomorrow night 💪😎🤳
Thing is after a certain point I can’t even tell the difference any more. I feel like the downloads are throttled from Microsoft’s side so I never quite get the full whack.
