I think you’re really overestimating how popular Tim Hortons is amongst Canadians. 15 years ago that’d be true but the entire chain slid downhill and their public perception is pretty shit. We don’t have the same attachment to the brand anymore, especially considering is no longer a Canadian company.
I’m not familiar with homestuck but did read a lot of Order of the Stick, where one villian is completely fine with being the bad guy who is to be defeated. In fact, he relishes it, and hopes the story of him being taken out makes him a legend.
