Doesn't come out of nowhere to my knowledge. It is quite anticipated game by many, as it was shown with trailers before on big shows. Everyone was wondering what kind of game this will be and everyone just knew it as "Pokemon with guns" where you can catch and slave other Pokemon like creatures. I'm actually surprised that so many didn't heard of the game before.
When your console is highly compatible between generations, such as x86/amd64 … maybe should just sale ‘the game’ and give users access to the older console version, and the version with any enhanced features only accessible on the newer console.
Maybe treating these console generations as though they're somehow super different is more trouble than it's worth. Meanwhile, PC games I bought 20 years ago can easily be run on new hardware at higher frame rates and resolutions than when I bought them.
SV: One of the basic questions of the game was whether you would become a monster if it would save the world. So that's where you get that in that moment. And then the interesting bit was, well, if you're not going to do it, are you going to ask someone else to do it, or you just going to say, "F*ck everybody?" That's essentially what that moment was.
Yep. My first playthrough was as Karlach with a strict code of no non-consensual body mods ever again and no giving baddies power, so when I got to that choice the only true thing I could choose was "F*ck everybody" with the automatic loss dialog box. Oh well
My current playthrough is as Astarion with a slightly more flexible moral code. Of course, now I've gone for the brainworms and I'm regretting it simply for the visual effects on the skin
Reminds me of Satisfactory’s version: the spiders are replaced with gigantic, holographic, slightly-glitchy cat heads. It’s incredibly more scary, tbh. The cat head is the size of a large dog, lol. www.youtube.com/watch?v=jcAbYczBgsU
Hah, that first quoted review is like playing Elite Dangerous. Really love that game. However, Starfield doesn’t have VR, so I’m not interested in going down that path. VR in Elite (except for ground ops) is amazing, and a spaceflight/sim absolutely should have a VR option IMO.
I still have to start the witcher 3. I’ve like 5 or 6 games on the go at the moment so it will be a while yet. I also plan to get cyberpunk goty or whatever edition for like 5 ducats in a future steam sale.
