battery life will be comparable to the DualSense controller, which would mean roughly 8-9 hours

Never has my DualSense controller's battery lasted 8-9 hours, especially when haptic feedback is enabled.

3-4 is more like it. And it never wants to charge on usb on my PC for some reason.

That's too bad. I use a cradle charger with room for two controllers, so I always have one in standby.

EDIT

The setup works very well.

Not sure about it on PS5. I tried (pirated) it on Switch. The experience is awful, mostly because of the control was originally designed for a mouse. They mapped the mouse movement to the sticks and called it a final product. It’s unplayable to me.

It supports touchscreen, which works really well, and motion on the controllers - which works very similar to the original on Wii.

I wouldn’t use the analogue sticks, it didn’t even occur to me that was an option. Maybe it’s because it’s a pirate version? Perhaps try supporting indie developers?

PS5 will probably be stuck with using analogue sticks? So that’s likely a miserable experience.

racketlauncher831,

I support indie developers. I loved World of Goo 1.

Sorry, but your argument is very weak. A pirated version of a game would not have additional features for no reason. A poorly done port is a poorly done port. There is no excuse of it. It may work well on the touchscreen, but I enjoy playing on my TV more.

And I am not a petty person who pirate everything as I assume you think. All I said is World of Goo 2 has unplayable control in docked mode on Switch. I would give my money to Windows/Mac/Linux version instead, where I can use a mouse.

But control scheme aside, I don’t find the stages of it challenging and interesting enough for me to buy the game. In fact I stopped playing after stage 3 or so.

Mutahar really ripped into this one.

It’s a wierd play by Sony for sure.

It's pretty absurd, there's no reason Sony products shouldn't work with themselves. The Sony Linkbuds would be a great use case for the Portal but apparently not.

This game was so fun on the handheld. I just loved the psp’s bumper buttons and world of goo used those in such a satisfying way. game control felt very unique, but maybe I was just a kid :D

Will be interesting to check this out on pc

I actually likely would have bought this if it had bluetooth. remote play on my laptop is cumbersome if im sitting on the couch, but if I can't use my airpods then I'm out. i've got some sennheisers I could use with the 3.5mm jack but over ear headphones get uncomfortable quickly to me.

Well Bluetooth would likely add a bit more latency, so that makes sense when you think about it.

At least it has a headphone jack.
