🤣 yeah it kind of does. I like platformers and metroidvanias though, and I have fond memories of several previous entries to the series. That is the appeal for me. The game’s got good reviews, it’s nice to see the series actually getting some stuff right this time, especially because the last entry was such a disappointment for me.
It’s definitely a money thing, but I don’t think it’s in the way that you are suggesting. I think it’s a matter of them making more money (somehow) by excluding Steam. That’s pretty much the only platform it’s not available on.
Wrong. I never said I wanted it to be exclusive on Steam, I just want it to be available on there as well.
Why is Steam pretty much the only one it’s not available on? The fact that it’s on so many other platforms just makes this exclusion even more illogical.
No, they should definitely be accountable for all the other shitty things too. This is just a game I was actually kind of excited for, hence why I’m upset about it.
No. Honestly. I own one, but I haven’t been able to play it for reasons relating to my work and I’ve got a lot of buyer’s remorse about it too. That really sucks, but I really don’t feel like I have missed out on much as far as gaming goes.
My gaming laptop has been more than a viable alternative. I really wish I hadn’t been so impulsive with the purchase of my PS5. I genuinely feel like it wasn’t worth all the struggle it took to get it, and the financial loss/burden/degradation that it caused.
I’ve been considering selling it, for some time now, but I’m having trouble committing…
I’d love to hear your stories/advice, for any of you in a similar situation.
As someone who always thought about getting into gaming as a career, i’m so glad i didn’t… it’s a shame that game developers are having to suffer through such a toxic industry, and that there aren’t more protections in place for these people that create the amazing experiences that we all love so much.
I hope that they are able to find new and better places of employment.
