Also Zombies Ate my Neighbours would be also great for kids, Im not sure what services its available on (but the rom is easy to find for emulation, it is on Snes)
Dont Starve is pretty dark… i wouldnt call it horror exactly but it has a spooky vibe. Its officially 12+ but I think a horror-loving kid would probably be fine with it.
Maybe a system letting players choose ‘hardcore mode’ (having extreme limits on weight) in Starfield would be better, since people seem pretty divided about this.
(I really do want to play this game, I like Bethesda games. But there are always inevitable shortcomings, which modders will fix.) Also by then perhaps it will be cheaper.
Callahan’s Crosstime Saloon - (it is now abandonware, you can play it for free) if you have never heard if it but like sierra/lucasarts style games you really should give it a try. Extremely funny.
But also the Monkey Island Series and Grim Fandango?
People are getting pretty spicy with the responses. OP was just underwhelmed by a game getting a lot of hype. Like lots of people are going to like it, but not everyone. I think theyre just trying to generate discussion, not say “everyone who likes starfield is an CHUMP!!” or something.
