I’d argue this generation actually did deliver performance-wise, most games release with a performance mode that targets 60fps whereas the PS3/PS4 generation felt mostly stuck to 30FPS.

  • Indiana Jones and Starfield are NOT going cross-platform, contrary to rumors
  • Phil emphasizes this is “not a change of their fundamental exclusive strategy”

The Verge claimed that’s what they are and it seems to match what Spencer said about the games. The verge is a trustworthy source I’d say.

Sources familiar with Microsoft’s plans tell me the first two titles will be Hi-Fi Rush and Pentiment, followed by Sea of Thieves and Grounded.

Xbox is Microsoft so that’ll literally never happen. They could make Windows 11 boxes though.

Surface Duo uses Android though so I wouldn’t put it in the same vein as Linux distros. Microsoft uses Linux for their web services like everyone else, but there is no way they’re going to push people to using their competitor on consumer products. They want people to stay on Windows.

Your morals are fine, what isn’t fine is that most of the people boycotting the game are harassing people that buy it.
