I hate all the gimmicky mechanics so, I’d be down with getting rid of all that stuff like go back to gen1 before berries and holding items to increase power and stuff.
But I do not want to have to switch boxes to hold Pokémon on the PC or have limited storage for held items.
I wouldn’t mind a 2d version, but maybe they could draw inspiration from the Zelda 2d remakes.
I got lost a few times in that game as a kid. I do not htink it is too bad these days. I think it was a matter of being put in a significantly larger world from what we were used to.
I’ve played it so many times at this point, I think I could navigate it without enemies or needing to click on consoles it with my eyes closed.
I’m really not getting into it. I’m near the end of the main quest line and it was fun at first, but it’s just become repetitive and it makes just want to play Skyrim again instead.
Same, if my steamdeck can’t run it then I don’t play it. I love portable gaming so much because I can just be around the house or quickly suspend the game if something comes up.
Additionally it seems all the new games are pretty boring, maybe I’m just getting old, but I don’t care about graphics at all, just give me a fun game.
I’m actually playing the original oblivion right now and have no problems or complaints about the graphics, it’s just not important to me.
As far as I know, the new version didn’t change a single thing other than graphics and maybe some bugs. Right now, I am doing an oblivion gate and I am just running through without fighting anyone. I actually just turned my steamdeck on and was in the last room. It was too easy and much better that way.
I finally started playing the original release on Steam since I don’t have a powerful computer.
It is fun, but it’s much smaller than I imagined. People always complain about the drauger ruins in Skyrim as being repetitive, but damn those oblivion gates are just the same thing again and again. Hardly any variety between them.
I’m pretty close to just dropping this game and starting up Skyrim again.
