Yeah I’m in the same boat where my time is limited and I’d honestly rather be on here arguing about feline genetic differentiation than playing the equivalent to a game made by PETA that caught on with the crowd who responds to every Nintendo Post with just the word “PalWorld”.
Nothing else, no discussion, I think some of them are actually PalWorld fans who don’t realize they’re hurting the case of PalWorld being different enough to avoid legal disputes by associating it with competitor titles.
Actually, you know what, now that I talked through it I know I would love to play this title but I want absolutely nothing to do with the community around it.
Also I think there are a couple of copies of the first 2 sims floating around where you get robbed daily and the mailman hates you as an antipiracy measure.
I’m with you, that studio brought the Sims sales model into the new era. The only people who actually play all their content are either wealthy losers or pirates. Nothing is more unwelcoming than a small closed off community.
I have no ill will to the flamboyant of the many genders, but if a high end component doesn’t have a non-RGB setting or option then I’m not gonna use it. It’s the opposite of a selling point for me.
They want to “help me learn” that a form of media storage invented and refined within a couple of decades will outlast all other forms, because they’ve deluded themselves that the things they rely on are perfect and that failure is impossible.
