Its not just Fallout, I feel like shows in general are a lot more gory now. I enjoy fantasy and sci-fi stories and I love the games, but I also have had to be revived with smelling salts when I saw an incision IRL. I just wish I had a setting to not have to see that boot scene in 4k.
Gore in games always bothers me less, it feels more cartoony. I’m not asking for them to take it out, but I would like a “for babies” mode that blurs it. I felt a little sick to my stomach at a few points.

I had fun with Go when it launched, but haven’t played in years. What I love about it though is how many"non- traditional" gamers play it. I’ve had more than one 50+ coworker I’ve known tell me they play it often, and do no other gaming besides it. Two of my sisters also play, and they don’t play any other games. I think that’s awesome.
Being limited by the DnD system makes sense. DOS2 had a lot of cool mechanics not present in BG3. I do hope we see another DnD game from them eventually.
I appreciate the rant and the advice! I’ve tried 1 before unmodded so I know a bit of what I’d be getting into. I probably wont wrap back around to 2 until I beat the 3D games but Ill re-review this all then. I play a lot of retro games so Im not unused to following guides and tip lists.
Any combat skill that is a good go to OP one? Im usually most interested in speech skills, maxing them before anything else.
