The former is a masterpiece and the latter I’m having fun with but required a massive perspective shift and 3 play attempts to do so compared to previous Fallout games (even FO4).
Not OP, but as a person who wants to switch to Linux but is worried about being able to play the games I like (and doesn’t generally use Steam), is Nvidia bad for Linux gaming? I’ve heard good things about AMD’s Linux compatibility but I have an Nvidia.
Don’t know how many AAA games you plan on playing, and I genuinely no expert, but 90% of the games I play are 3-5+ years old and my Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 (or is it 2050? I always forget. Lol) works just fine as a GPU.
Companies need to learn that you can rollback policies, but you cannot rollback loss of goodwill.
Too bad modern capitalism is all about short-term profit over long-term anything. Who cares if you burn down the forest as long as you can walk away with the wood, right?
I believe it does. I don’t really buy many games on Itch to be honest but from what I understand and from the handful of games I have obtained from there (mostly just free games), that is indeed how it works.
And agreed. Definitely wish GOG had a larger library.
This is why I buy all my games on either GOG or Itch.
Yes, they definitely have their problems, but at least I can download an offline installer for pretty much any game I buy. Sure, GOG or Itch could still take them down in the future, but they can’t take away the offline installers I have backed up on separate external HDDs.
