Those were awesome as well. I just remembered the necropolis faction as well, I think it was in 3 that you could get insane numbers of skeletons / skeleton archers. Probably 5 as well.
I think that was an option you could enable for your playthrough where it would use a consistent seed. You could get around it still by taking a different action first to use up the bad roll before trying again though.
For every 100 shots you take with a 99% chance to hit you will miss around once. I think the max hit chance was capped at 95% from memory too but I could be wrong.
Not sure if they are on sale or not but a few staple RTS games that are definitely worth checking out imo:
Command and Conquer series
Age of Empires specifically 2 and 4
Supreme Commander (with the Forged Alliance expansion)
Probably way more, RTS isn’t a major staple of what I play but these titles are pretty diverse and will give a good taste of some of the genres best IMO. Of course Starcraft as well but I don’t think that’s on steam.
Yeah the prologue level they showed looked incredible. I really hope they can give the game all the polish it needs, after so long in development they absolutely need to release something with quality to match.
This is a real shame, I used to buy all my games on GoG and had high hopes for the galaxy 2.0 client. Hopefully they keep going because we need a viable competitor to Steam that isn’t awful.
