State of Play announced

Sony will host a State of Play tomorrow, September 14th.

The show will focus on already announced titles coming to PlayStation and PSVR2 from third party and indie publishers.

Don’t expect any first party news in this State of Play and it’s unlikely the rumoured PS5 slim/detachable disc drive will be announced either.

Given the recent rise in the PS Plus subscription price it would be beneficial for Sony to justify the more than 30% rise in subscription fees and a State of Play is the perfect time. Especially considering this months PS Plus Essential lineup is widely considered to be among the worst ever and todays Extra and Premium announcement didn’t exactly make the new higher prices feel like value for money.
